I retained Shane Henry and he was upfront from the beginning and did not sugar coat expectations and cost. Communication was amazing with him and Amy their paralegal. They work very quickly and you see all communication with opposing counsel which I did not get from the attorney I had prior to retaining him. I got everything I wanted and I owe that to good counsel. I was able to get full custody which was best for my child. It was amazing. If I have to go back to court in the future, I will retain Shane. Hands down BEST lawyer and office in Kay County. Brad and Jessica are a power duo and if you want someone that has the necessary skills to win your case and ensure you are treated fairly and with respect and don’t get bullied by the system. They are fair and don’t play the Buddy system that a lot encounter in Kay county and the court system in general.
They never make you feel silly for asking a question or wanting clarification on something you may not understand. They never get upset or arrogant and expect you to just trust them and “leave it to the experts” like some offices. Trust me they are phenomenal and definitely got above average skills but they also are extremely humble, honest people and have integrity. They will never make you feel rushed and always want to make sure you are a 100% confident in understanding everything (sometimes legal jumbo is hard to understand so they make sure you are never blindsided or anything misconstrued)
Most lawyers are competitive by nature but to find a lawyer with a true gift and can execute that gift effortlessly (or at least make it seem effortless) and still be humble and have actual integrity who cares for the people and cases he argues is not only a true gem and hard to find but ultimately a true blessing! Then to have his right hand aid set the bar so high in her skills and abilities who is so sweet and honest and the most helpful is what make them a power duo! Jessica is so knowledgeable that I usually can’t wait to talk with her to just ask her the silly minute things that I’m pondering or want to make sure I’m fully understanding because she never makes me feel silly no matter how big or small the question!
Honestly, I’ve felt like l like my back is against the wall but felt 100 at ease once I hired them! I’m naturally anxious and I love to research everything but I know if I read something and start to feel anxious or anything she’s always able to make sure she explains everything and put my concerns to rest but what I love is she won’t sugar coat! She will tell you if you have a reason to be anxious but also let you know they will do everything they can to do whatever’s necessary per the law to ensure everything is done according to how it’s supposed to and fairly! Love love love these two!
If you don’t know who to trust to get your litigations handled correctly, effectively, and with the upmost integrity they are the two you want I promise. I can’t speak for the other attorneys in that office because I don’t have experience with them but hands down these two I’d pick 100000 times over! And if they can’t help you DEFINITELY go with who they recommend! They won’t steer you wrong! Truly blessed to have got to have them handle a few things for me.
Also I’d just like to add if you think their dropping the ball on something for you you really should set back and think about everything they put into their jobs to make it look as effortlessly as they do! I promise in the end you will see it was not in vain! They are working so hard for you even if it’s hard for you to see in the present! They put their clients interest as priority and work so hard!! Be patient and pray for them! They are human too but they go above and beyond because they actually care and trust me their job is no where close to easy!!

Bruce Powers and his staff handled the probate for my mother’s estate. I was the personal representative and lived out of state. Adam has helped me in a number of situations. In some cases it was just procedural, such as helping to properly setup a trust account, but in another case I had a long time (multi-year) issue with a collections company that was wrongly claiming that I had a debt and was unwilling to work to resolve it. After Adam got involved, he was able to quickly show the collection company the "error of their ways" and they dropped their efforts and removed all references on my credit reports. You can be sure that Adam will provide you with solid advice but he won't sugar coat anything either. I highly recommend him.

I'm not one who completes online reviews but I feel compelled to share my personal experience with Attorney Nathan Barnard with you.
While online seeking the assistance and advice of a local attorney, I came across his name in the online phonebook. I'd already dialed four laywer's offices with rude & failed attempts at getting any answers without making an appt. to come in & "consult" with their lawyers. I'm disabled so going in to have a face to face just to get a few 'general questions' answered is challenging for me. With very little faith of getting any answers, I proceeded to call his office next. After briefly telling the receptionist of my need to ask a few legal questions, much to my surprise, my call was kindly and almost immediately transferred to Mr. Barnard himself. He answered & spoke to me as if I were his established client & he knows me personally. I am & will continue to be more than impressed & grateful for his kindness, the giving of his time to me, (a random caller,) additionally, without hesitation his legal knowledge gave me an answer to every question I asked. I'm doing this review as I feel he is more than worthy of me passing this rare "attorney" experience on to others... Caring attorneys DO exist! We addressed my areas of concern as he answered each question without hesitation or haste. At no time did he make me feel rushed or uneasy about taking HIS TIME to help ME with the answers I needed. Not once did he imply or insist that I'd need to come in & hire him to represent me BEFORE he would grant me any more of his 'important time & busy schedule!'
After the 35 minute conversation, he'd helped me with all concerns I had, PLUS he offered additional information I didn't even know to ask him about.
Prior to my call to Mr. Barnard, who was the last one of five in the phonebook that I called Friday, I have never had the luck of blindly calling & actually 'TALKING' to a more professional, personal, positive, knowledgeable, kind & easy going person! This includes ALL professionals; Dr., Lawyer, etc. with whom I AM already established! But for this attorney to accept my call & answer all of my questions as an unestablished person is unheard of! Prior to this last phone call to him, I didn't think I'd get any answers without FIRST hiring an attorney to answer my concerns. NATHAN BARNARD PROVED TO ME THAT NICE PEOPLE/PROFESSIONALS DO STILL EXIST!
