Mr. Gorton came highly recommended by a mutual acquaintance after I was seriously injured in a multiple vehicle collision. I had been struggling to navigate the insurance morass for more than a year before discovering my injuries had not been correctly diagnosed following several visits to doctors and dozens of painful physical therapy sessions that were making some things worse.
Once Mr. Gorton was on board, I was able to take a welcome break in not having to deal with this very confusing and frustrating issue as he took control of the case allowing me to focus on recovery. This gave me time and freedom to find a doctor who finally figured out underlying issues leading to multiple surgeries and more PT without the pressure from insurance companies to resolve the case quickly or continual questions about progress that seemed "too slow" for their company processes.
Mr. Gorton's extensive legal experience and deep understanding of the insurance profession led to a positive outcome. He used several specialists to create medical, financial and historical reports in preparation for court, which ultimately convinced the at fault party's insurance carrier to wisely settle pre-trial.
I appreciated his pace, counsel, reassurance and patience in dealing with court and insurance. His calm demeanor and tenacious advocacy were a huge plus.
This case began well before Covid hit, continuing through many months of court closures and slowdowns. He was there for me and my family every step of the way.

Parker was great to work with. He was very thorough and responsive, answering any questions I had and making sure I fully understood the process and my options. He and his assistant were also extremely helpful with negotiating the property damage part of the case despite it not resulting in additional money for them. I've never needed a lawyer for anything before, so I was a little nervous but Parker made the whole process smooth and painless. He also got my case settled for 4x what I expected going in, which is a big plus. Highly recommended.

Back in May of 2018, I was rear-ended at a stoplight. While I only suffered minor injuries, my car was deemed a total loss by the insurance company.
Since I had been involved in a similar car accident nearly 10 years earlier I thought why not skip the attorney become a DIY (Do It Yourself), attorney. I could just deal with the Insurance Company on my own and keep more money this way. Not a good idea.
After 3-4 months of agonizing discussions, the insurance company finally made me an offer that was embarrassing low. I think they figured I would just go away. Their offer was far less than my previous car accident 10 years prior and I felt that I was being rear-ended for a 2nd time.
So, I reached out to Parker Reich. While my case was a pretty small case he willingly took it anyway, much to my surprise. I had spoken with two other attorneys who basically said it was not worth their time.
So, I sat back and just let Parker do what attorney’s do. Aside from the occasional call to get some details from me, I really did nothing. I was not in a hurry.
After nearly a year, Parker reached a settlement that was nearly 6x more than my original settlement offer. I was thrilled. He and his staff did an excellent job of getting a fair settlement. I was never looking to get rich; I was simply trying to find a fair settlement for the situation.
Lessons learned:
1.) If you think you can just do it yourself and save the attorney fees. Think again.
2.) If you try to do it yourself, you will probably create problems when you eventually do hire an attorney down the road. They will have to clean up your mess.
3.) Get more than one opinion if you are unsure about your case. Parker may have taken on my small case today, but if I ever get in a situation with far higher dollar figures involved, I know where to go. If my friends ask me for a referral, I will refer Parker.
Parker and his team did an excellent job and always kept me informed of what reality looked like and helped by setting expectations. I understood the process, the potential outcome and the results were not just as predicted but better.

I needed an attorney for a complex case involving an insurance company refusing to pay for covered services that could have potentially resulted in the death of my daughter. I used the bar finder for Thurston County and came up with several names. I called them all, and Paul was the first one to show interest in the case and the reasons given by the insurance company.
When I first met Paul I was a little skeptical because of his age, but I was not left with a lot of choices. Paul worked with us on his fee, and understood that we were not in the best situation financially because of how much we had already payed in co-pay costs.
Since this is a Federal Based Insurance Company for Retired military personnel, the issues were convoluted, complicated, and to say the very least difficult to navigate.
We met with Paul explained the situation and retained him as our attorney. Since that time I have been nothing but completely impressed with this young man's ability.
The amount of research he did to ensure that not just the major points, but all points where the insurance company had violated the law, and the contract to provide care were covered, explained and were addressed immediately to get my daughter the care she needed.
Even though the hospital has not been paid, they understand the need and are continuing to treat my daughter based on this man's ability to fully explain the legal situation. The hospital that is treating my daughter is not involved in any negative way, and he has been in contact with them to the extent that the hospital is cooperating, even though I am sure they are leery that we may change our minds about who gets into litigation.
In short, I would say that if you judge this man simply by age, you would be missing out on a great attorney. I stand behind this review 100%, and have given Paul permission to give my name and number to prospective clients that may be unsure of his qualifications.

Miranda, Jonathan, and Noel are all amazing legal representatives and work as a team not only together, but with you as a client. We were at their mercy from across the country fighting for our rights and what is best for our family. Miranda took on our case within a 2 day notice, fought for us and with us until present day!
