I worked with Mark Barbour based on the recommendation of a family member, and couldn’t have been happier with the results. While I hope to never have a personal injury needing assistance again, I would use, and recommend, him in a heartbeat. He was easy to work with, would work around my schedule, so I could mail in papers and have phone updates rather then driving out to his office. He dealt with the insurance companies, the medial billing departments, and collections on my behalf, and took care of everything. Tom Robenalt should be nominated as Attorney of the Year. And let us not forget Lauren and Tiffany as the Best Assistants and Office Staff ever!!! Mr. Robenalt took the wrongful death case of my Father that another firm what not even look at. Mr. Robenalt along with his staff kept me informed every step of the way and always got back to me when I had a question. I was injured and I am quadriplegic from the injury. This guy didn't do his job at all. Waited until we had less than a month to file the lawsuit bc a statue of limitations. Then he decides he doesn't want my case. No one was willing to take the case bc there wasn't enough time. So my case never got heard. I'm living on 629.00 a month. And no justice.

I met this lawyer for a consult. I did not have a copy machine and he was aware that I brought my original papers to the meeting. He said he would take my legal papers home to review. I thought we would meet again to discuss his findings and he would return my papers. He lost my only copies that I needed to pursue a legal issue. He said it is my fault for giving them to him. He can't be trusted.

This woman went along with everything children’s services said , thought , and did while representing me. She didn’t subpoena any of my witnesses, she left me with a halfway done visitation schedule with someone that stopped bring my child to see me and was ultimately removed from this persons house for abuse . And I asked for an appeal, she confirmed she filed for one and since it’s Covid the courts are running slow and look its2024 and I haven’t received anything yet… My son doesn’t know who I am , he’s traumatized, because I went to jail, the person didn’t come to court because they lied . The charges were dropped and children’s service’s charged me with neglect. This system is so broken . There should be a law against what she did to my son and I.

I think about this case a lot, and it is very upsetting. Jessica didn't follow through on things in making sure agreements were signed prior to a case being dismissed. Then when it came time to negotiate the custody part leverage was lost and I came out behind. It really affected my relationship with my son for a long time. Jessica wasn't really concerned with me as her client, and didn't do a very good job advocating. She ended up coming off as extremely passive. When we had to go back to court a year later Jessica was on maternity leave and it took a long time to get a response back. Overall, I wouldn't consider her competent or effective.
