Nothing against this firm in terms of expenses, Divorce is an expensive ordeal and does take significant research and work to formalize a proper agreement based on special situations and individual situations. While one must be prepared for such legal costs over all the experience with Hartsoe and Associates was amazing. Specially, me being in the US Army, I was not always available for reaching out to, but despite they handled my case exceptionally well and came out with an amicable out of court settlement ! which is something I wanted from the start. Knowledgeable, empathetic, funny, polite and reasonably priced. These are all descriptions of Attorney John R. Fonda of the Fonda Law Firm. I'm a Landlady with investment rental properties in the Triad.
I met Attorney Fonda at the W/S Forsyth Co. Government Centers waiting area, along with other Landlords and Property Managers. As we waited for our hearings to be heard. When he walked in, I found him to be pleasantly approachable. He had us laughing and talking to each other. That really helped us ease the tension of the situation.
We informed him that we were Landlords with eviction cases. He offered us his Landlord informational pamphlet of the legal do's and don'ts called "Landlord's Guide To Summary Ejectment Proceedings In North Carolina. That he wrote, and at no charge!
My PROFESSIONAL TENANT had a Legal Aid Attorney that first delayed the case by continuance, then had the case dismissed.
All of which the tenant and Section eight withheld rent for two months.
I called the number on the pamphlet and hired Attorney Fonda to redo my case. He did an excellent job informing and advising me through email and phone calls. He understands and get what Landlords are up against in the Court System. As we have rights to.
After sending the tenant a NOTICE OF DEFAULT letter and followed up by an ACTION FOR SUMMARY EJECTMENT NOTICE. This Professional Tenant couldn't flea the property fast enough.
I would definitely retain his services again and refer him to other Landlords with the same problem I had. He is truly GOOD PEOPLE. Thanks, Attorney Fonda.

My son and I were hit by a drunk driver on Interstate 40. My truck flipped and we were both pretty banged up. The insurance company wanted to say that the drunk driver didn’t have permission to use the car he was in and weren’t going to pay anything to me or my son. We hired Doug to take over the case, and within a month he not only got the insurance company to agree to pay, he got them to pay all the money they had on the policy to us.
Without Doug we wouldn’t have gotten a thing. He’s a great lawyer and a really nice guy.

I purchased a car from a Northern VA dealer. During discussions w/the sales personnel two issues came up that they said would result in price adjustments. When presented w/the sales document which was filled out completely by the dealer's accountant I thought the final amount reflected what the dealer's sales personnel had agreed. I paid the bottom line amount requested by the dealer.
Three weeks later I received a telcon from the dealer's accountant stating that they had made a mistake and wanted more money to compensate for their mistake. I said no, and then wrote an email stating what I saw, as my position including compensation that I believed their sales personnel had agree as compensation. The dealers response was to demand payment. I responded w/another email.
After 3 months of this type of exchanges I called a friend and asked for a recommendation of an attorney in the Winston Salem area and was given Jeremy Foltz's name who I then contacted.
Then two days later I received a letter from the Lawyer representing the car dealer. I forwarded the letter to Jeremy who in a lawyer to lawyer exchange was able to settle on, what I considered to be, a fair and equatable solution.
This solution would not have occurred without the intervention of Jeremy.
Would I hire him again--Absolutely!

You will not find a better Attorney. They will hole your hand the whole way. I had an attorney in High Point for 2 yrs I knew there reception after getting the run away. I chose Mike Lewis he down to earth and if I called five times a day. He would always call me back. If it wasn't for Mike Lewis helping me I would not have gotten my disability. He has an experience Social Security person that worked for Social Security

I had the opportunity to work with Kevin after my parents' fatal auto accident with a semi-truck. Kevin worked with all those affected (not just as an attorney, but also as a sounding board at times), and kept us all up-to-date as the lawsuit progressed. I worked with Doug Meis on a personal injury case stemming from a car accident with an underinsured motorist. He was fantastic. He explained everything to me, provided me with possible scenarios, and guided me through some very complicated information. All pretty standard except how little I actually got for the 200$. Spent maybe an hour on the phone for 3 minutes of information. Then I was quoted 2k for the hearing help.
