I worked with both Rob Stepans (in Jackson, WY) and Ryan Shaffer (in Missoula, MT) over the course of a year from 2014-2105. Rob and Ryan represented our commercial leasing company in a landlord tenant dispute. We needed a legal team willing to tackle a case many attorneys would avoid. From the start they were diligent, hard working and compassionate. They listened to our case and offered honest expectations. Their level of professionalism throughout the process was noted by many involved. It also gave us confidence and I feel an advantage over the opposing counsel. Their communication was excellent. I am a professional in a public service job. I was arrested and eventually fired from my job. I contacted Rob and he was able to get me released from jail without posting any bond. After working with Rob and my local union representive I able to get my job back. He returned all my calls, his legal secretary was very helpful in getting messages through to Rob and getting legal documents mailed, and faxed back and forth from another state.

If you are in need of an attorney in the state of Wyoming seek no further, Jamie Woolsey, is the one. She is so professional but overall she is so patient and understanding. If you are like me that is not into law and don’t understand all that language, she takes her time and explains it to in ways that you understand. She gives you examples that make sense. Overall I appreciate it is her who is in contact with you directly and also keeps you informed. She doesn’t just collect money from you, she goes beyond to assist you.
I highly recommend her services. I hope we won’t need her but if we did we definitely use her once again.

After I paid thousands for his legal “expertise”, he tried convincing me to plead guilty for a crime I never committed. He never had my back. If I would have followed his advice, I would have lost my career. I went against his “expertise” and fought back and the case was dismissed. He was terribly responsive throughout and didn’t even tell me the final verdict; I had to call the courts myself. Save yourself the time and money and find someone else!

BE AWARE OF THIS LAW OFFICE. Don't pay any attention to the 5 star reviews!!!! This outfit will take your money, ignore your phone calls, never call you back, screw up on your court dates ( we drove 7 hrs to the court house and it was THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY that told us in the waiting room that the court case had been moved to a later date! ), Emails go unanswered, ignored, disrespected....AND THE BEST PART>>> They never let us know that our attorney QUIT!!!!!!!!! We received a phone call about a week before trial from a new attorney THAT HAD NO IDEA ABOUT THE CASE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cowboy country was incompetent with our case. At the beginning of October we requested a full detailed account on time spent on our case. We still have not received it after numerous attempts. We will be in touch with Wyoming State Bar.

We hired Alex Freeburg to help out with a nasty issue. My family had lost a tidy sum of money to a construction contractor who had then ghosted on us. We were worried we would not get any of our money. But, Alex got us sorted out after just a couple of meetings. He had some great ideas. Sadly, we were not able to get all of our money back. Alex made us feel a lot better while he worked on the case, and he won the judgment against the defendant. We would hire Alex again in a heartbeat.

I haven't (luckily) had too many run-ins with law enforcement, but when I did, as an out of town traveler in WY, I was terrified. It was a product of unfortunate circumstance, and I didn't know where to turn and what to do.
I feared that if I contracted a lawyer, (s)he'd take an arm and a leg and leave me to still pay heavy court fines without any result. But I also realized that I needed one, and after a few weeks of deep research, I landed on Ryan Wright.
Initially, his education and reviews sold me on the firm, but from the beginning it was clear to me that I had made an excellent decision for one of the most stressful moments in my life. Ryan, from the get go, was intelligent, a keen listener, and shrewd in his approach. He has an excellent understanding of the law as well as intuition for nuance, and – most importantly – goes wayyyy above and beyond to ensure that his clients have the best deal possible. He did that for me than anyone I've ever hired, at a very fair (and even slightly below market) price.
In the end, I got a pocket deferral, which to laypeople (such as myself) is the equivalent of the holy grail in court results – it happens very, very rarely. Don’t get me wrong – Ryan never guaranteed that result (he couldn’t – no lawyer can – due to the element of chance) but I have no doubt in my mind that he did every single thing in his power to make that happen.
If you’re debating whether Ryan is a sound choice – I hope this review puts your mind at ease. I’d choose him as my lawyer 10/10 times, and I am by nature someone cautious and slow to build trust with.

John handled a civil case for my wife and I, we felt he did an excellent job.
He was extremely easy to work with and easy to talk with. He and Heidi kept us updated on necessary things and seemed to be on time with his court documents and briefs. I thought one of his strongest points was using the correct legal cases when arguing the case. He is well spoken and handles himself well in front of others. Civil cases can be contentious, yet John seemed to be blunt when needed, but still under total control at all times. Great Attorney!

Mr. Fitzgerald compiled very detailed information about our accident and all parties involved. He was very considerate and compassionate about every aspect of the case. He came to our home to get a feel of how our family lived our lives and to meet our friends and complete interviews with them in a home town setting. We met with him outside his office on two other occasions, for him to complete interviews with me and my family for him to get a feel of our past and present lives. Mr Fitzgerald and his staff are amazing. My mother was involved in a fatal accident 2,000 miles away from home. I was fortunate to be referred to him by another atty in FL. Tyson was an excellent lawyer, he went above and beyond what I had expected. Tyson kept in good contact with me, keeping me informed of everything going on and explained the process thoroughly.
