Anthony supported me in a FSBO of a studio apartment in a cooperative building (Manhattan, upper East side). Anthony is a no non-sense attorney with years of experience in the NYC real estate market. He answers calls and emails promptly and effectively, whether it is a week day or the weekend. I chose not to have an agent representing me in the sale therefore it was essential for me to hire an attorney that would keep me informed and on board each step of the way. Well I give five stars because I believe one is great or not. No in betweens. Let me begin by saying this was stressful process for me cause it's a life changing situation obviously but Mr. Katos simplified everything and gave me the knowledge and confidence I was lacking by just one phone call. I called for information on a coop and I was nervous at first because I didn't want to sound stupid and uninformed but like I said Mr. Katos was knowledgeable and kind. He didn't even charge me anything! I'm looking forward to getting serious and calling him in the near future.

I hired him to do my divorce, after the first payment, he asked me for more money to file a motion and never filed it. It has been 3 months since I paid him the additional payment and he still haven't filed it. I tried to call, send messages, e-mail, everything and he didn't return any of my contacts. He advertises on his website "We take pride in providing one on one attention to clients to properly educate them and guide them through the Divorce and Family Court process. " and here I am 3 months later waiting to have a feedback and he simply doesn't return any of my calls, messages or e-mails.

He does not follow-up at all, is slow with getting things done, doesn't respond to emails, doesn't advocate for you, is untrustworthy (at one point he said he has signed executed contracts and just needed to forward them to me...the contracts were not signed by the other party) and he is very rude.
