Springer and Lyle, L.L.P. and all associates have been incredibly helpful! They literally took care of everything. We met once, a month after I had been released from the hospital and they kept in touch with me with every step taken to remedy my situation. I came out with zero medical bills, car paid off and a quite a bit more too. They always asked me how I felt before making a decision and offered advice when I wasn't sure. I hired Mr. Stone off the recommendation from a friend. In the process of trying to recover my wrongfully withheld security deposit from my former landlord, I was countersued and subsequently lost in small claims court. After Mr. Stone reviewed my case, he gathered evidence in my favor through various legal routes that I would have been unable to myself. We then filed an appeal which was heard in a higher court. My landlord settled days before the trial and dropped his countersuit. Additionally, he returned my full security deposit and paid all my lawyer fees, including other accrued charges in the legal process. Mr. Stone put a tremendous amount of effort and time into my case and I would trust him with any other legal issues that would require an honest, experienced lawyer.

I was facing a very long process from a wrongful eviction to my deposit of $1400.00 being kept. I covered myself knowing the type of landlord I had. Being a single mother of two with a grandbaby and never being in this situation before I felt hopeless, until I went online and seen this site and chose to try Mr Stone he answered we started to talk about my situation and from then on we never lost contact. Mr Stone made sure I was informed every step of the way. With his knowledge and firmness displayed to this slum lord it was without a doubt he was representing me and to the fullest. After being granted a well deserved judgment in Small Claims Court, the defendant chose to appeal to a higher court. This caused me to require legal representation. After several days of calling law offices, the common theme was, "we are too busy." I was thoroughly discouraged, as I had an upcoming court date. I hired Minor and Jester to handle an eviction case for one of my rental properties, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite the fact that my tenant had not paid rent for three consecutive months, the firm completely botched the case.
Specifically, Christopher Henry and Olivia Ponce, who were assigned to represent me, were grossly unprepared for court. Their lack of knowledge of the eviction process was glaring. It was clear from the outset that they had not done their homework, as they fumbled basic questions and failed to present crucial evidence to support my case. To my disbelief, their poor representation led the judge to dismiss the case (you can look it up in the public records for the City of Denton), despite the tenant's clear violation of our rental agreement.
The lack of professionalism and competence from both attorneys was astonishing. I expected to work with experienced professionals who would fight for my rights as a landlord, but instead, I was met with a careless and disorganized defense that ended up costing me time, money, and a resolution to the situation.
The only reason I’m giving them a two star review is because they were quick to issue the refund of the retainer fee and the consult fee, thus admitting their error.

I reached out to Michael Fox for a real estate matter this afternoon based on a list of attorneys that was provided to me. Although, I was expecting to get a voice mail, Mr. Fox answered and confirmed that he was an attorney. When I explained I was looking for help with a real estate contract, he responded abruptly, "I don't do that. And, certainly not on a Sunday afternoon.". Then he just hung up.
I was surprised at the lack of professionalism and that Mr. Fox exhibited by implying it was my fault for calling him outside his business hours at the number he has posted everywhere online.
