Unfortunately I was sued. It's a frivolous harassment suit that requires knowledge in contracts, real estate, and general litigation. The case is made more complex with multiple parties where the relationships need to be managed with care.

Over the course of my professional life, I've become aware that I am a pretty difficult person to work for, so I was pleasantly surprised to have Jacob Awad representing me.
Beyond the essentials like answering or immediately returning countless phone calls, offering excellent legal advice and being impressively punctual, Mr. Awad proved to us that he took his client relations very seriously. During the course of my experience with Mr. Awad, I learned that he didn't actually operate in accordance with normal business hours or holidays--He was always working, even when others were not. In a nutshell, without the need to mention names I initially went to a good experienced veteran lawyer and was surprised when he lost his confidence in our family's case and suddenly wanted to settle for less (basically to convince us to settle case for personal property damages only). Then we met Kristen & she believed in our case. Kristen took over the case, worked on it diligently, and eventually hit a home run. She was very bright and did a great job in handling our case. Why aren't all lawyers this honest, this competent, and this customer-focused? Weisbrot literally saved our mid-sized company with a rousing success in a multi-million dollar lawsuit. We reserved $75,000 in legal fees and basically wrote off a potential judgment of $1,5 million. When the dust settled, he recovered a fairly sizable award for US, and his fees were unexpectedly reasonable. more importantly, he was So client focused. Everything was filed quickly but they said “the court doesn’t provide updates” many times when asked.
Almost a year into my process, my ex heard from a friend that their divorce was finalized in less than two months and then she tried calling the court to get information, she was then told our divorce was finalized 7 months prior.
I went to court and was able to get the final decree, but still haven’t been notified by my lawyers that I’m divorced…

Not going to lie, they are quick with starting the divorce process but it has been almost 8 months and my divorce still isn't finalized...and I was told my divorce should be finalized from 6-7 months, then they pushed it back and told me it is now 6-8months. What's next, a year? I ask for an update and I get told that they will get back to me and they never get back to me. These reviews did get my hopes up unfortunately. I just want this process over with already.

The lawyer listened to our explanation and told us it didn’t sound promising, but to send the supporting documentation. A few days later I received an email from the lawyer stating I had NO appeal left.
I felt I needed a second opinion. Not having another recommendation, I searched the internet and came across Michael
