I recently attended a party and within 20 minutes of getting there, the police were on the scene. Unfortunately, for me I was at the wrong place at the wrong time. A few weeks after the party and to my surprise, I received a citation for underage possession and consumption of alcohol.
A friend who he represented in a different case recommended attorney Creigh Martson. Attorney Martson was professional, knowledgeable, direct and concise. I was leaving for college in two months and was worried that I would lose my license. He was direct and straightforward with his answers. He listened attentively and was empathetic to my situation. He offered several options and gave different scenarios on how the case could go. I also felt he was sincerely interested in me as a person, who I was, what my goals were and interest.
The next day he followed up by email and had the hearing schedule for two weeks following. During the two weeks he followed up with emails updating me on the case. To my satisfaction, the case was won in my favor.
I cannot thank him enough!

Creigh was very helpful in my second DUI case. I have a professional license and it was imperative that I was able to be well represented. Creigh reviewed all scenarios good and bad with me, and he even made suggestions for me to take action early on in the process to avoid jail time. He made no promises he couldn't keep, and was very thorough in my case. I'm aware that he has many cases to deal with, but when we were together, I felt like I was the only caseload he was working on. I would definitely use Creigh again in the future.

In 2011, I had to file for bankruptcy. I called Chad Julius. During our first meeting, he explained the process and what I needed to do. At one point I was starting to feel scared and nervous. Chad told me I should feel relieved.
His instructions were: tell my creditors I was filing bankruptcy. Give them his information. Call him when they called me. When I told one of my creditors about my filing they were so furious I became upset. When I called Chad I was severely shaking. He told me not to worry about it (things got easier as time went on). If I had to leave a message Chad got back to me in a timely manner. Chad Julius was there every step of the way.

Doug recently represented me in a serious traffic violation (3 summary offenses & 1 criminal offense). He convinced me that he was sure the criminal charge would be reduced. I had met with two attorneys concerning my DUI before consulting with Mr. Marsico. Ten minutes into the meeting, I knew he was the person I wanted to represent me. I had never required the services of an attorney before and I was very concerned. He made me feel at ease and did a really fine job of explaining the process and the options available. I hired Kent to handle a divorce case after sacking another lawyer for being non-responsive and failing to perform. My experience with this law firm has been one of unprofessionalism and negligence. My uncle, the executor, hired Mette law after my father died as one of the people in the firm was a neighbor and fellow church goer with my father. They asked for a $5000 retainer to handle the probate process of my father's estate and then proceeded to sit on their hands for the next 3 months. In the meeting that we had in August they outlined what they were going to do in terms of handling all the bills, getting all the mail redirected to their office, and to set up the estate checking account to handle said bills. So far, none of this has been done. I sent multiple emails asking them when things are going to get done and most of the time they do not answer me. When they do answer me or my uncle, they just say that this process takes time; but they have not done anything that I can see. My uncle calls and no one is there to take his call when he talks to the secretary. Mail is piling up in the foyer according to the real estate people when showing the house, I get termination letters for the bills such as home insurance and electricity and then we frantically have to pay it ourselves even though there is money in my dad's checking account to handle the bills. So they took our money and then have not done anything to earn that money. I would never recommend this law firm to anyone.

Originally we spoke Matthew Banks on our custody case he agreed to take our case we were reffered by North Penn legal services Banks was great but soon after putting $1500 down our case was given to his understudy who charged for every phone call, voicemail, email, and text. When we contacted him about not doing the steps to establish paternity we received no answer for over a week. Understand during this time the newborn baby was under 50/50 custody order with no actual order. With no paternity rights established at birth. It was necessary to establish custody before proceeding with modification of original order. It came down to us having to go through domestics and getting a call from Banks himself yelling at us telling us that his understudy has other cases we aren't the only ones. Now I know that but I also know that filing paperwork when you are paid $1500 do so isn't a lot to ask. Also when you are in any type of employment for that brief time you are engaged with your client you are suppose to make them feel like they are the only one. I agree that my daughter called a few more times then she should of in the beginning due to the fact that she was a first time mother forced to give up her baby for 3 days straight. They refused her breast milk and put the baby on formula after being breast fed strictly for 3 weeks of her precious life. She needed reassurance something was being done as fast as possible when in fact that was not the case like I said we had to go through domestics. After being reprimanded by Banks his understudy started charging for any contact so we decided not to contact him until he was needed. 2 months later we get a check in the mail for the remaining balance saying they closed out the case due to lack of contact. So if you have a custody situation be very careful I wouldn't want to see you end up in the same predicament.

Costed me like 7500$ and was told theres nothing they can do bc of my medical marijuana card. Then you wont hear nothing about them helping get your license back which is still apart of the case. My wife and I hired Woodburn to preform the closing on my house and to do our wills. I regret ever hiring him, let alone crossing his path. Woodburn fails to adhere to American Bar rules, as well as the Pennsylvania Code, particularly when it comes to rules regarding attorney-client relationships and boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed. Woodburn is by far the most unethical attorney I’ve ever dealt with and is unfit to practise law.

I’m a current client and I’m very frustrated with Stuart’s cognitive abilities. He’s not a skilled communicator, he’s not focused- but he never forgets to send a bill. He will take years longer than needed with your affairs whenever possible. If you have worked with him I suggest you have another professional recheck his work for his regular style of overbroadness and conclusory view of your affairs. 2-Dimensional view of the world which prevent him from researching multiple issues at once. Not a business man, even if he gave advice I wouldn’t trust it as the highest and best use of your resources. Not emotionally intelligent and liable to cause fights among your decedents. Poor network of resrouces- will refer you to or have you associate with incompetent attorneys (I’m not sure if the good ones will work with him, it’s a small town.)
My family left behind a large estate and even we cannot afford Stuart’s wasteful meandering approach,
It’s very sad for my family my father would be frustrated beyond measure with his lack of structure and results

Judicial ethics opinions should be public. Redact names if you must, but advisory opinions on what PA judges should or should not be doing should be public info available to everyone. Your complete lack of transparency does not engender trust in your corrupt court system. Then again, most judges probably will not seek out an opinion, anyway.

I hired Darin after my arrest for marijuana possession of less then an ounce. He so graciously negotiated my charge from felony possession to felony possession. He never returned calls and the only time I was able to contact him was when I was paying him thousands of dollars. He talks a good game but doesn't follow through. Wouldn't recommend him unless u plan on losing horribly and spending thousands of dollars to do so.
