Making the decision to get a divorce isn’t easy, you feel lost and unsure of what to do. Mr. Gebis not only walked me through every step of the way but he also explained in great detail what, when and how things would be happening. Bonnie was my family’s lawyer for years, and how she stayed in their good graces is beyond me. A year ago Power of Attorney over my grandfather had to be removed from my father. My aunt was her actual client, however Bonnie decided to call me (20f) more than anyone else about the matter and gave me consistently terrible information. Despite my fear of the situation Bonnie insisted that my taking over POA was the *only* option available. She was forceful with her words and made it sound like I had no choice in the matter in the face of making sure my grandfather was safe. Furthermore, Bonnie decided it appropriate to inform my grandfather that I was taking over; giving an old man false information on legal matters was beyond what I could have imagined. I received papers intended for me to sign, making me POA. Having another legal party read over the papers it was evident that Bonnie worded everything like she had just earned her license. If I had signed those documents I would have been in much worse shape than I am now. If you are considering Bonnie, please run as far as you can. She handles cases as unprofessionally as possible. My grandfather could have been in safer hands sooner if not for her.

We needed to file a bankruptcy. We contacted a TV attorney. Met and was not comfortable with how we were treated. Met with Ms. MacFarlane. We were put at ease and everything was explained in a manner we could understand. All questions were answered. We never felt talked down to. It is a scary feeling to have to go bankrupt. If you are ever in this position , contact her. She is the one we will use in the future if any other legal issues arise.
