Sam Mansoor represented the interests of us co-executors in a Fairfax County Civil Court trial regarding a dispute over interpretation of a Will with respect to the distribution of assets from the sale of my step-mother's house. Frank Stearns is not only a consummate land use attorney, but he is also a fine person to be associated with during your representation. Frank worked tirelessly for my project and kept be abreast of the nuances and changing tides throughout the entire process. His knowledge base, and experience in land development in the Northern Virginia region is vast. He is known in every jurisdiction and local staff members were receptive to working on my project because of past experiences they had had with Frank. Mr. Colombo is worth every penny he charges. We met during COVID, which means we actually never met in person, and that is the reason why I didn't say, "he's worth his weight in gold" ... I've never seen him so I don't know what he looks like ... what if he's skinny, the "worth his weight in gold" wouldn't do him justice!
I'm a one-woman, small shop contractor and one of my clients decided not to pay me. Mr. Colombo took on my case for half of what others had quoted me and he came through, all the way. He took the time to listen to me, he responded to my emails during off hours and called me when only workaholics like he and I would place/take calls. He's accessible, personable, thorough and good. I never had to nudge him, he was always on top of my case and I'm very aware that while my issue was big to me, it was small peanuts to him. Nevertheless, he always made me feel like I was his top client. Seriously. That's a rare find.
I'm a very happy camper and I will sing his praises to the moon and back. Yes, I'd hire him again in a heart beat but, trust me, I hope I never have to!!!!

Going through a divorce and a custody situation can be a daunting, complicated, and emotionally draining process. With Mr. Benjamin Fitzgerald at SSHW you are truly “in good hands.” He is everything you would want to have in someone representing your interests. His reassuring compassion and empathy will put your mind at ease in trying times and his knowledge, professionalism, and direct approach, both inside and outside the courtroom will ensure that you achieve the best possible outcomes. I was at a really bad place when I first called him on a late Thursday evening, he took the time to understand the situation and by the time I met him, first thing on Friday morning, the next day, he had already worked out and set a plan in motion. What I had expected would take at least a week or two, was achieved within an evening.
