I never thought that I would be in the position where I would need a liability attorney. But, given the unfortunate situation that I was in, I was absolutely blessed to be introduced to Mr. Crist and have him as my lawyer. I did not know Mr. Crist before I hired him to represent me. To say that he fights for his client just doesn't do him the justice that he deserves. He was an absolute pit bull in making sure that I received everything that I was entitled to. He was never satisfied until every, and I mean EVERY stone was unearthed to ensure that he had done everything that could be done to satisfy my interest. He always kept me informed; I never felt that I was lost in terms of how things were going. If, I am ever in the predicament again that required Mr. Crist' services, he will be the first person that I call. Although my injuries are looking more and more like they will stay with me for the unforeseeable future, I am at peace in large part due to his representation..

Dave Honadle has represented my former company for over ten years (his firm Vanderpool, Frostick & Nishanian has represented the company for a lot longer than that), the majority of the work being related to landlord/tenant. matters. Dave is knowledgeable and reliable. When one of the properties was placed in to redevelopment mode, Dave was instrumental in the termination of leases and the removal of holdover tenants. Even though our relationship focused mainly on landlord/tenant issues, Dave is proactive in forwarding information that may be important to the company doing business in the State of Virginia. I cannot recommend The Reed Law Firm highly enough! While Mr. Reed represented me though a detinue case and Mrs. Reed represented me in my divorce, the firm as a whole worked together like a family.
I was so impressed with their expertise and unwavering support and commitment throughout the entire process.
From my first consultation with Mr. Reed, when I was distressed and in need of help, I felt listened to and reassured. I was really vulnerable, not knowing anything about the law and he provided clear, strategic advice specific to my situation. The most encouraging feeling from that initial call was that he was being realistic and upfront about what would lie ahead- legally and financially.

We used McCarthy and Akers for two of our house closings (selling and buying), and we were very impressed by their professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to explain each step of the process. And when our buyer’s title company had made an error on the buyer’s documents, McCarthy and Akers caught it and got everything squared out with them before we signed the paperwork.
We were so impressed that my wife and I came back to them when we decided to make our wills. Doug McCarthy, Dan Mitchell, and their team made the process extremely simple and explained all of our options that made it very easy to understand. We filled out a small packet ahead of time to give them pertinent information, and when we came for our initial meeting, Doug and Dan were prepared, and we were able to go through all the necessary information in 30 minutes. They had refreshments for us as well to top it all off! I recommend McCarthy and Akers to my family and friends, and I would do the same for anyone who needs the services they have to offer.

I am very much impressed by his work ethic and his approach toward difficult situations that came across in my case. The best thing about him was that whenever a crisis came about, he would present the situation to me in a very calm manner and at the same time give me a set of possible solutions to the problem.. He would then let me choose the approach that I felt most comfortable with. This made me feel that I am in very good hands. Thomas Breeden is one of the best ever lawyers i have come across.
Thomas doesn’t play when it comes to serious business with his job as a lawyer.Too great as a lawyer.
I have never regret hiring him as my lawyer.
I found myself in a contempt case and someone recommended him for me and i have being so excited from the day i hired him as my lawyer till the final day that the judge ruled the case in my favor

He got my case dismissed within a twinkle of an eye with professionalism.

I paid $70 for a phone consultation, and I terminated the call within less than three minutes, as Mr. Breeden both interrupted and raised his voice at me. He first cut me off, saying that I started in the middle of story and he needs to to know the first page. At that moment, I realized that he either hadn't read the intake brief that I sent to his office days ago or he doesn't want the case. I insisted to get to the bottom of it: did he at least *receive* my written brief or not? He refused to answer and commanded me to again, start with the page one of the story. The argument escalated. Within seconds, I terminated the call, telling Mr. Breeden that I'm concerned that our communications have already broken down and I have no confidence in working with him. That was a $70 well spent - I had no idea that layers can be that unprofessional, now I've experienced it.
