I trusted this Lawfirm to help me build my trust for my family in a very scary time for us as I was facing a month at Mayo for surgeries. I reached out to them again when I needed to transfer Guardianship for my adult son with special needs from Arizona to Iowa. I did all the work to get Arizona to release it and trusted them to do Iowa’s side. I had a consultation and I paid the requested $2500 For several weeks, I didn’t hear any news so I called today to get an update and I was told that Attorney Marianne Brown said that I told them I wasn’t ready to move forward so they hadn’t done anything yet. What part of having a consultation and then writing a check for $2500 said that I’m not ready? I am curious. I thought my families needs were being taken care of, but actually they probably just forgot about us and then made up a convience lie. They then said that yesterday they got my check back in the mail and said it bounced. I have never bounced to check in my entire life. I’ve been a business owner for 40 years. I’ve never been without money. I was their client for six years and never bounced to check to them so if something like that happens, wouldn’t you reach out to the person and just have them pay you again? I called my bank and they said I have NOT bounced a check. what’s going on here? I think instead of just telling me “I’m so sorry, we forgot to start your matter, we will get right on it” they lied. WOW

Worse lawyers in town! We bought a property and asked them to represent us. Signed the papers since we were out of town. When we came back realized the leases were a total mess, didn’t have the right name/number of tenants and many other problems which were absolutely unbelievable since we had lawyers to represent us. When we called to get some explanation the answer was “ this is what you get if you buy from the bigger slumlord in town” well, EXACTLY LADY! That’s why I hired YOU to protect me! I guess those are big slumlords while they are big slum lawyers! Run away from them!!!!
