Matthew represented me in a very difficult situation involving discrimination charges I filed against my company. My very powerful former company had reacted to every attempt I had made to advocate for myself over the years in ways worse than I could have imagined, and I knew if I would have continued to represent myself, I probably wouldn't be able to live with the outcome. Matthew graciously took my case and got the situation resolved very quickly, hammering out an agreement that got me everything I cared about the most, and more. I left that company with the dignity they tried to take from me and I will be forever grateful to Matthew for that.
I was especially impressed by Matthew’s intelligence, engagement with the more complex aspects of my claims, and willingness to take calculated risks and stand ground on several points that were really important to me. He’s an incredibly skilled negotiator with great instinct. Although we didn’t go to court, I knew from his numerous ground-breaking legal victories that if we did, he would do a spectacular job. I think my former company knew that, too, and that gave me a ton of leverage. I would recommend him to anyone.

My husband and I hired John right after, and I mean right after, our first child was born...realizing that we needed to get our "estate" in order. He clearly outlined everything that we needed gather, discuss in advance, and then guided us through the process and planning part with recommendations. He was incredibly patient with us too in getting all of our final paperwork signed and processed, as that was a crazy time for us. The whole process could not have gone any smoother, and when it was complete, we were amazed that we had put it off for so long thinking it was such a huge project to take on. We reached out to Andrea as homeowners who had been sold a "luxury" home which was not finished in a luxury fashion. Many short cuts taken by our builder (we bought the house in almost finished condition) and his subs and less than 1-2 years into ownership we had issues with our cement fiber siding and other areas. Once we reviewed the details of our situation with her, she felt we had a solid case and offered to represent us. We proceeded based upon her conviction that we could win. Fast forward a year plus later and we ended up mediating and settling, which we were happy about as we recouped a good portion of our out-of-pocket cost to do the renovations we discovered we would have to do. We would use Andrea again (though I hope we never have to!)

Attorney Click recently represented our large extended family in a case where a prominent attorney attempted a land taking by claiming adverse possession. When we approached David, he was extremely busy but agreed to represent us in a timely manner that was needed to answer the complaint. Prior to contacting David we had spoken with other lawyers who were reluctant to go up against this particular well known law firm. David does not shy away from difficult. He knows the laws and is able to articulate his thoughts in a concise manner. He was very professional and nice to work with, and listened to any input that we wanted to contribute. He offered to travel to meet with the multiple people involved as most did not live nearby. The case reached a settlement agreeable to all defendants as well as the plaintiff having to pay all of our attorney fees. We highly recommend David as an attorney.

A commercial customer canceled my contract and refused to pay the outstanding invoice, a five figure sum. David took on my case after direct appeals failed to product any results.
David is a careful, detailed listener and assembled a fairly complete picture of the situation by the end of our first phone call. Subsequently, he spoke with other involved parties, prepared the necessary affidavits, and filed suit in Norfolk Superior Court.
His preparation is very thorough, exploring multiple avenues of enforcing the payment of my invoices. Ultimately, he presented my case in Superior Court with clarity and force. When the judge compliments your attorney on his presentation, you know you've picked a winner.
After the first day in court, opposing counsel promptly advised his client to move to a settlement. I was reimbursed nearly 100% of the outstanding debt.
While I would prefer not to go through any of this again, David would absolutely be my first call. He is top notch, well prepared, and knowledgeable regarding the intricacies of the legal system and its exacting requirements. -- Highly recommended.

I have had several divorce lawyers throughout the years and by far Attorney Grossman has been the most competent and trustworthy of the group. Given our past history with bad attorneys, my wife and I started out slowly to get comfortable with Attorney Grossman and over a short period of time it was clear that she was very good at what she does, provides excellent advice, listens to her client's desires, and works constructively in a resolution. We handed over the whole case to her. She isn't a hot-head as many attorneys can be but she deals with these hot-heads in a very decisive fashion but in a calming way. The one word that describes Attorney Grossman the best is Professional. That is what you can count on.

I have had occasion to be involved in several real estate transactions with Attorney Rachel Sanders
as recently as two months ago. When I learned of AVVO and what it was, I immediately wanted to let others know of the superior service I received from Attorney Sanders. I was never left with unanswered question, documentation was prepared in a timely fashion,and above all I was made to feel as if I were the most important client during these transactions. Some times matters such as these can be perfunctory at best, and pleasantries are usually a casualty of the business at hand. I can honestly say that Rachel Sanders is always cheerful,and willing to do the extras that others in this line of work simply would not do. I recently had the pleasure to work with Kristina Yee Vitullo. Unfortunately, I got myself into a situation where I had made, what was for me, a large deposit, much of which was not refundable. As time went on, I realized I did not want to go forward for a variety of reasons. The situation was complex. Kristina is extremely bright and personable and was quick to understand the situation. She wrote a brilliant letter to the organization I had contracted with, and within a few weeks, was able to obtain an 85% refund of my deposit for me. I was incredibly delighted and relieved.
Kristina is responsive, easy to work with, and as shown above, gets results quickly, without making a big deal of things, for an extremely fair cost.
You'd be smart to hire her for whatever your needs are.
