Jonathan Corey was a great divorce lawyer to have on my side. I went through a tough divorce, was dealing with a large marital estate and a long term marriage. I was really worried about all of the complexities of our estate dealing with real estate, stocks, retirement accounts, precious metals, etc., not to mention children and all of the other things that have to be dealt with. Yadira Ramirez is an excellent attorney. I was blindsided by false sexual assault allegations. Yadira was always calm, cool and collected. I felt she had my best intentions. She had a lot of patience when I got angry or upset because I didn't understand how the courts work, or how lawyers communicate with the courts, and also the laws. I felt more at ease once when she thoroughly explained how court proceedings take place. Although, I could not ever be fully at ease because of the implications in my case. We had evidence that showed my innocence. But even with that, I still felt anxiety because of how inconsistent the courts in America are. Yadira could have told me that I had a airtight case and that we were going to win in court. But she was honest and said that courts are unpredictable and that she can't guarantee a victory. Which I understand. But she also said that we do have good evidence and that would show favorably for me in court.
Court was set for a Friday, and on Monday my accuser decided she wanted a consent agreement. I did not know what that was, and Yadira thoroughly explained what it was.
The first draft of the consent agreement their attorney sent Yadira was bogus and unfair. Yadira told me to stand firm and not accept the terms. Yadira redlined the document an added language in my favor. Their side sent back another agreement, and Yadira once again said to stand my ground and not accept it...
So finally 2 days before we're supposed to go to court. My accuser and her attorney caved and gave in to our terms and a much more favorable consent agreement, which ended up in a dismissal of my accuser's restraining order against me...
I was extremely anxious and nervous the entire time, 3 months of absolute hell. Yadira gave me my life back and restored a little faith in the legal system. There are lawyers out there that 100% care about their clients and Yadira is absolutely one that cares.
I recommend Yadira for any legal matters regarding restraining orders.

Thomas Ybarra is a highly organized and knowledgeable attorney and I'm so grateful for his attention to detail when it came to my divorce proceedings. He was always honest with me about what to expect and also heard me when I told him what I wanted/needed. He was able to successfully argue my position for sole custody of my two children, secure me spousal support and child support, and negotiate an agreement that allowed me to keep my house. His attention to my case was constant and I could always get ahold of him when I needed advice. Before we met Richard, we had nothing in order -- a very very outdated will (somewhere) that didn't reflect a single aspect of our current life, kids, home, investment property, business etc. After meeting Richard, we have peace of mind! We have a living trust, will, designated guardian for our daughter, person to make medical decisions if we can't, signed docs giving us power to make medical decisions for each other, on and on. We have an enormous binder with all these documents including extremely detailed and helpful information for our next of kin and executor, should something happen to us. Richard and his team make this very straight forward and easy. They kept stressing that we can call any time with questions (no charge) and in 3 years we'll sit for a review of it all (free). This was painless.

We had unfortunately hired a “crooked” contractor for a major remodel. He over-charged us (per the contract), did some shoddy work, and then when I called his bluff on the over-charging, he put a lien on our home. Dan understood the situation, got his head around the case, and took us on quickly. They only did the necessary work, but they did it right! End of the day, the court ruled in our favor, with everything going our way.

I had a property dispute with neighbors of mine, and was put in a state of panic from not knowing what my rights were or what I could do. I contacted Mr. Goldstein on a referral from a paralegal friend of our family, and he was more than helpful. As part of a group of homeowners who purchased townhomes unaware there were unknown defects, I was very skeptical when I found out that the HOA didn't have funds set aside to cover the cost of the needed repairs. We, the current homeowners, were going to be responsible to pay for the repairs, and ti was determined they were builder defects. Dan was hired to represent myself and the other homeowners, and through his thorough fact finding and persistence in representing our cause, he was able to quickly set up an arbitration appointment and at that first and only meeting, we reached a settlement! I had no idea this case would be resolved so quickly and to my satisfaction. Throughout the duration of our case I was kept informed of all steps taken as well as costs incurred. My legal case revolved around the dissolution of a long-term business relationship with a family member. Jason took my call and we visited about a very difficult case. He was encouraging and supportive and absolutely amazing. We were approached by a neighbor with an interest in leasing our pasture for a recreational cannabis farm operation (now legal in Oregon). Given the potential contract, land use and legal issues with such an arrangement we contacted Fritz. I've had the privilege of hiring Fritz twice for legal issues dealing with my home. On the first occasion, Fritz's advice on a potential property line dispute helped save me nearly $2000 in surveying fees.
On the second occasion, Fritz was the first person to catch that a contractor had missed a critical deadline when filing a construction lien on my home. Because of this, we were able to demand that the contractor release the lien. This saved us from the nightmare of having to go to court, and also prevented us from being forced to pay an unscrupulous contractor who had done bad work.

I met with Mr. Vergun for a half hour consultation as a result of a referral by the Oregon State Bar. I spoke with him by phone and emailed ahead of time of my areas of concern regarding a small business I am starting. There was technical statutory research that needed to be done for several questions.
