My ex is bipolar, unemployed, and unemployable. We were married more than 30 years and we have 3 wonderful children. Mr. Wikramanayake was the counsel in a complex business litigation case I was involved with a year ago. He was extremely professional, courteous and relentless in his pursuit of a positive outcome for his client.

If there was a rating scale of 1 to 10, I would rate Mr. Reckson as 10. We needed an attorney licensed for the state of Maryland. My sister and I both live out of state. In fact, different states. My sister found him via the Internet.
Because of the excellent service we received, I felt a need to write this review. I know there are people like us that rely on reviews to help obtain services needed. For this reason, I felt a need to write a review that would help someone else in determining where to obtain good legal assistance. In working with us, Mr. Reckson made himself available to answer questions and kept us abreast of events affecting our case. Mr. Reckson is a man of integrity. He cares about his work and about the people for whom he represents. Being out of state, my sister and I could not stay on top of things, but Mr. Reckson did. He kept us informed of our options and things we should considered. I am impressed by his professionalism. But more than that, I am impressed by his caring spirit. I was involved in a car accident in June 2024. The lawyer, office director, and all other staff took care of my case with all sincerity. It was a place where English, Korean, and Spanish were perfect. In conclusion, I reached a very satisfactory agreement and result. The physical and mental shock and wounds were wrapped up very well. He was my lawyer for a complex custody case. This was my second time in litigation for the same case. During this second time around, I interviewed 3 different lawyers and chose Chris and I'm very glad that I did. He practices in Maryland and Virginia which is rare, and something that I needed for my case.
He took an extensive amount of time for the consultation to truly understand the issues that I was experiencing and why I needed representation. He listened to me throughout the process and didn't do things without consulting with me first and never pressured me into doing things. He gave me the pros and cons of different options so I could make the best decision and tried to save me money wherever he could. He told me the whole truth of the situation without making guarantees never just telling me what I wanted to hear to try to get me to do things to make him more money. He also always stood up for me and continued to advocate for me when the other side was being unreasonable.
He was a breath of fresh air especially compared to my first lawyer. For multiple reasons including the pandemic the case got dragged out for over 2 years but I'm glad that I had Chris on my side. He is ethical, reasonable, and if he is not familiar with something he takes his time to research so he is always prepared. The amount of effort he took to prepare for my case far exceeded what the other side's council put in which I think had a big impact of the results. I'm going to continue to use him for other areas of law if I ever need assistance and I've already referred people to him for their own situations.

This is my second time in the court system for the same divorce. Mr Wampler is 100% the opposite of the lawyer I hired the first go-around. I hired him after consulting with a couple different divorce lawyers. He, again, was the only one to really listen and comprehend my situation. In just the consultation alone he offered a solution and told me how he would be able to help me. I have never once felt as though his intent is to waste my money or time. He wants what is best for my son and I the same way that I do. If I ever need an attorney for anything else, I will hire him again. Do yourself a favor and get him on your team.

OK, maybe the title is overly dramatic. We faced a dispute with the local water/sewer agency over their proposal to build a temporary road on our property and through our woods to service a manhole in the adjacent park. The agency was proposing to use our property for a year without compensating us. Alex helped us navigate the process of proposing a compensation level that could be defended by standard practice and communicating our proposal to the agency. Ultimately, we prevailed -- not by receiving just compensation, but by the agency choosing a different route. We view this as a positive outcome and it would not have been possible without Alex.

I was going to sell my company for an offer that was nearly impossible to refuse. This sale would have changed my life for the better, but I would have given up my intellectual property and gotten a job within the new company.
Alex looked over the documents with a critical eye and consulted a colleague as well. He did a complete assessment. The terms were vague and I would not have had any security or legal recourse. He recommended against signing off on the sale. I declined to sell the company.

I would definitely recommend attorney Noel to my friends. I had a foreclosure notice mailed to me and when I was put in contact with Attorney Noel, she knew the entire procedures in step by step, she told me what to expect as well as how to handle the paperwork. Whenever I needed to speak to her she made herself available. If I had any questions, she replied within 24 hours with a knowledgable response. Not to mention she was friendly and very professional.

This lady not only totally misrepresented herself several times but doesn't return calls, did not do as agreed at all, doesn't seem to give a rip about anything but making a fast buck for doing nothing, and is the most unprofessional acting attorney I ever had to deal with. BEWARE!!! She took my money, did nothing, refused to do anything, refused to refund money, didn't even quit properly and incited the judge, who refused the withdrawal, so I got terribly delayed being able to get another attorney. She didn't even spell her own name properly on the so called contract with NO -- heading, address, phone number, website, etc... I HAD TO GET THE INFO FROM THE COURT especially since once she was paid she no longer accepts your calls or shows up for court. Don't expect much from her. I had thought I found her in the Christian Shepherds Guide but not sure now. She certainly doesn't act in a way pleasing to God at all. I thought I was hiring a Christian. I'm terribly disappointed and filing several grievance's against her. BEWARE AND STEER CLEAR OF THIS ONE. What you sow is what you reap Ms. Noel. Nobody wants to hire an attorney who doesn't care about why they were hired and only wants a fast buck. Money isn't the answer so have some integrity and return my money. Your only cheating yourself when you cheat!!!!!

I hired Mr Markowitz two years ago when I had trouble with two of my commercial tenants/properties. Mr Markowitz was highly professional and gave great advice on how to handle each situation as they were completely different. He explained the process and all the possibilities that I might encounter. Although the process can be tedious the end result was successful. I gained possession of one my properties and Mr. Markowitz was able to collect all of my past due rent by his skillful negotiations with the tenant. He presently acts as a liaison one of with my tenants and often collects the rent and promptly forwards it to me. I would highly recommend Neal Markowitz because of his knowledge of the legal process, his ability to get the job done as well as his overall professional demeanor. On a personal level he is very candid, honest and is always available to help and answer questions as they arise.

I hired Neal Markowitz as my attorney for debt collection. The case didn't even go to the court, the plaintiff signed and agreed with the payment schedule. Neal Markowitz is supposed to mail me the check monthly after his cut, but he's always late with the check. It's been almost two years now, and he has been late almost every month. At the beginning, I need to send email every month asking for the check, later on, I will send emails after a few months for the check, and he will mail the check with 3-4 month total payment at once. He is super unprofessional with work, lack of due diligence.
