I called Chas Abate late in the process in a deed-in-lieu where I was getting the run around from the mortgage company. What took me a year to get to a stale mate he quickly brought this to a final resolution. Not many attorneys would get involved this late in the process but he not only did but went to court the next day. Many thanks to Chas and I sleep much better at night thanks to him. I would highly recommend him and it was money well spent. I even received a refund for the money the mortgage company took from my account incorrectly 2 years prior that started the whole mess in the first place. His final invoice was detailed and extremely fair. If I had to do this all over again he would be the first person I would call. He has restored my faith in the legal system after getting the run around from the attorneys from the mortgage company. Thank you Chas you are truly a good person.

paid a lot of money to my lawyer to fill out a simple parole forms for us, but I ended up doing most of the follow-up myself. I had to correct their mistakes, which were numerous. It was very difficult to get in touch with them, and I had to request multiple times to have a conversation. In the end, none of the promises they made were fulfilled. They said they would contact the senator, but they couldn’t. They claimed they would reach out to the representative, which we had already done before, and they did not fulfill any of their responsibilities.

A few years ago when our mother passed away, we were clueless on what to do about settling her estate. After calling many probate attorneys in the Stamford area and basically being set aside and/or brushed off by their cold and sometimes clueless receptionists, a neighbor gave me Attorney Peter J. Somma's business card and we decided to him a call. He was very attentive and knowledgeable about the process and even met with my brother in his office at no charge to discus a game plan.
This probate matter took years to resolve because of issues with my family (lots of fighting) but Attorney Peter handle this matter with precision, patience and with what I know now as 40 + years of expertise. His staff was also very attentive and very quick to respond to our emails and phone calls.
