If you plan to get divorced, you better get good representation. My wife at the time and I had separated, and she had moved to Galveston County with my minor children. I had no idea about divorce proceedings or lawyers in Galveston County and was poorly served by the one I originally selected. Later, more things were discovered, and I needed to revisit the divorce. This time I found Robert Musemeche and I wish I had found him from the beginning. He was an outstanding counselor and advocate for me as I reopened the divorce and went through mediation and subsequent challenges to the mediated resolution. He was always a professional and I never felt he was charging me for frivolous or unnecessary work. He helped me achieve the best possible outcome that took a long time, and I am thankful for that. He seemed to be very familiar with the local courts system, judges, and attorneys practicing in the county.
