I was charged with Reckless Driving. A big deal in NC as it's a criminal offense. After reading lawyer reviews I contacted three attorneys. Adam's team responded the best and I hired them.

I reached out to Ms. Norton shortly after receiving a speeding ticket. During our first conversation she and I discussed the details of the speeding ticket. I consulted with numerous lawyers concerning a scenario that was ongoing. I hired Bruce Mason after reading about his selection to Super Lawyers for several consecutive years, and meeting with him. My situation compares to being lost in the jungle only to find a lion who becomes my aegis. I no longer suffered from noctambulation or constant worry because Bruce Mason was superb. He is breviloquent and eloquent simultaneously and has substantive work ethic and integrity. He is also well respected by his peers, and I suspect his intellect far surpasses that of most lawyers. If you have something going on that is incredibly important to you, I suggest hiring him. He can handle difficult cases with ease. He certainly left me in a better place after winning my case, and the only thing I would change about him is not having been in the situation I was in to begin with to need someone like him. I wish the world had more people like him in it.

I recently retained Charles Lloyd to represent me in my complex, double-felony sex-offender registration violation case.
Both Charlie Lloyd and his partner at LLOYD & NASH, Michael Nash, met with me multiple times to understand the urgencies and sensitivities of my case and hear my concerns. They researched case law and worked behind the scenes with court officials, and within 48 hours, we had all options and concerns on the table.
In fact, Charlie and Michael were able to persist even after two other legal firms were unable to handle this sensitive case that was destined to send me to prison for 5 years. Even though it was exceedingly difficult to face what I considered unscrupulous authorities and changing procedures for these publicly-abhorrent charges, I was well advised to plead. In fact, as a result, Charlie and Michael were able to reduce my legal exposure to a probationary period.
Indeed, exceptional communication, great persistence and strong personal connections resulted in an outcome beyond all expectations, especially given the difficulties of navigating court proceedings with these publicly abhorrent charges.
Lloyd and Nash are likely not the cheapest legal representation in town, but because of their capabilities and experience, I would always trust them to handle my freedom and well being. I have been a client of Mr. Lloyd since the passing of Kenneth Carrington from whom Mr. Lloyd expanded his client base upon taking over Mr. Carrington's practice. I was fortunate enough to count myself among them.
As a troubled teen and into my 20s - 30s between Mr. Carrington and Mr. Lloyd I on occasion required their services.
I must say that I have never been disappointed and have always without fail received top notch legal representation and most often a better than expected outcome.
I couldn't complain if I tried, because there simply isn't anything that I can see that could've been done better to insure the best possible outcome with respect to my needs and just the all around ease with witch things are handled by Mr. Lloyd and his more than capable staff.

Missy represented me in a white collar federal case. She made me feel very comfortable from the beginning and made sure that this conviction had "as little impact as on your life as possible," in her words. I hired Mr Byers to represent me in a Civil Litigation where I was sued for payments on a vehicle were not being made by the person suing me. She wanted me to pay her back payments she never made plus some. Mr Byers was very confident he presented evidence that he dugged up. I didnt have to do nothing but sit there and watch him work. He asked her questions and she just stumbled over the lies she was trying to keep up with. He made her attorney look like a fool. Needless to say we won. She lost. Joel decided to take my $250 consultation fee to get on the phone with me and tell me he couldn’t help me nor was he familiar with the area of law I was needed help in. His information was recommended to me off the MeckBar site for the issue I needed. I sent my requested paperwork in on 8/13 and Instead of emailing me saying “Hey I can’t help with the area you need” he opted to ask me to do paid phone consultation 48 hours later for $250. Immediately upon our phone call he tells me he’s not familiar with the area of law nor would he know a defense. I asked if I would then get a refund for the consultation or lack there of. He said no.
