I called three offices before hers. They all had more reviews and more ratings. They all had to call me back 24hrs later. Anna’s receptionist picked up I told her my situation and her receptionist transferred me to Anna’s cell phone right away. Anna was able to give me advice on what to do with my situation moving forward. I really needed to know what to do as I was getting pressure. She helped me calmly think about my next step without me feeling like I was needing to rush off the phone since at this time it was essentially free legal advice. At this point moving forward if my situation needs a lawyer (which likely I will) I will be using Anna.

Chelsea was a genuine gift as lawyer. I spoke with close to a dozen lawyers before finally retaining her services. Chelsea and her assistant Pheobe are incredibly professional. They're prompt with their responses and very knowledgeable. My divorce was looking to be a nightmare until Chelsea stepped in. With her assistance we were able to settle in a way that both my ex and I are satisfied with. She works well with judges, other lawyers, and with her clients. Mr. Turnoy is easily one of the best attorneys available for criminal defense. My situation was unique, and caused me a great deal of anxiety. My charges were juvenile, but they came back into light decades later. I felt like my life had been turned upside down, and was looking at a more complicatedfuture. Mr. Turnoy eased my worries by being persistent and thorough with all communication. He understood my thought process even if I asked questions that may have been insignificant. Jeff did an excellent job on our son’s DV case. As soon as he was assigned, things started moving very quickly with visible results in just a few hours.
He negotiated with the DDA to make a diversion program available preventing the long term stigma associated with the particular charges on hisrecord. Until his involvement, this option wasn’t available.
His communication was professional, compassionate, and sharp. His appearance and demeanor were also polished. I believe both factors help provide tangible results.
I can’t recommend him strongly enough.

These guys have been with me for 7 years through one of the scariest events of my life. When my nephew was arrested and charged with a criminal offense and thrown in jail, our family was in shock. He was there as a tourist on his own, while I am in NYC the rest of the family overseas, and he made a mistake based on cultural differences and without bad intentions. We were scared and lost as to what to do and had to find a great lawyer. A friend of a friend gave us 3 names, and we called all 3, but ONLY ONE called back promptly on the Sunday - and that was Michael Levine (the remaining calls trickled in during the week). We were so lucky because over the next month he proved to be not only a competent lawyer but also responsive, communicative, friendly, and to my nephew he provided real emotional support to guide him and calm him throughout the month. The case was successfully dismissed and that was based on his legal work and filings, but I heard stories from my nephew about how in the courthouse Michael was friendly and polite to everyone, and he sensed that the people who worked there knew and liked Michael and were kind and cooperative in return. Michael was also very fair with the price, and in fact his initial quote was very modest so soon after we started we offered to pay him a higher fee just because we could see he was doing more work than anyone anticipated. And so all in all I'd say BIG THANKS to Michael and we would warmly recommended.

David Terry was hired by my boyfriend for a criminal negligent homicide case. My boyfriend was expected to go to jail for 30 days, which was part of the plea deal made with the DA. Without Westbrook I would be sitting in prison tonight. I have worked with her for over a year on my case and when I say that, what I mean is: she has dealt with me for over a year and worked on my case.
Westbrook is the definition of left field, she comes up with stuff out of no where that makes you feel stupid for never thinking of yourself. In my year with her I definitely thought I finally had an idea of what sort of attorney she was and how she operates. NOPE! She suits up for court and it’s as if you hired a whole different woman! There were times in that court room I’d sworn I saw a cape around her. This woman is absolutely amazing and I owe my life to her, if I ever get falsely accused again there is no one else I would ever go to. EVER. If I moved across the country I’d make her get licensed there just to be my defense again.
I gave this poor woman absolute hell for things that had nothing to do with her at times and yet she’d be up until 3am working on my case. She can seem a bit unorthodox but let me assure you there is a method to her madness and you do not want to be the one going against her in a court room because she works in the most unpredictable ways and then suddenly brings it all together and by the time you realize what she did it’s already over. I’m not saying I trust the process, but I do trust her and her process.

Three years ago I was wrongfully convicted of crimes I did not commit. After winning an appeal I was assigned Westbrook. I was a problem client, I did not wanna wave my sixty day speedy trial rights to give her more time to work on my case all I saw was the thirty months I had been wrongfully imprisoned. Westbrook did her best and actually won my case and got me released from custody. After watching my previous attorney just roll over and show his belly during the first trial, it was refreshing just to see Westbrook fight, veraciously for my rights, to defend me with a tenacity of someone who honestly cares about doing their very best. I hired Jeff Siefman to represent me on a domestic dispute that led to my arrest in October. Jeff was very upfront and informative when I came to him about a no contact order that was placed that neither myself or significant other asked for. Jeff had the no contact order lifted within in 3 days and had my case dropped to a violation with no jail time and minimal fines and he gauranteed this level of commitment throughout the entirety of my case. I must say that he produces results. He is very proactive and was quick to respond to all my questions and concerns. I was arrested for a duii while visiting Portland Oregon. I called his office the day I was released from booking. He called me th hat night. Attorney Lesh explained everything to me in a way that was so easy to understand and he gave me all the time I needed to let it all sink in. He was so nice and didnt get frustrated when I asked him to repeat his explanations (sometime more than two or three times). Since I'm from Massachusetts he was able to get the judge to allow me to return home while waiting for mg court date. He even was able to reschedule my date to a week I was returning to Portland. Once in court he advised me and was able to get me into the diversion program which when completed would get my case dismissed. He was even able to get th he judge to allow me to complete the program in Massachusetts. I would highly recommend David to anyone needing representation. He is down to earth and very approachable. He is always available via phone or email and he always returns calls if he is unable to talk at the time. I dont want to say how much he charged me, but I spoke to 4 others before selecting him. His cost was very very reasonable and I feel I received as good or better service than any of the BIG FIRMS... I hope I never need his services again but if I ever get into trouble again I would not hesitate to call his office. Please give him a call... you wont be disappointed!!!

If you are facing not one but multiple criminal charges (counts) involving the operation of a motor vehicle which carry the potential consequences of jail time and a big license suspension if convicted, there is good news. You can call Ben.
Prior to facing this type of vexing ordeal, I had never been arrested in my lifetime. My case went all the way past a favorably conducted evidentiary hearing and legal conferences, just shy of having a 6-person jury trial scheduled with the Court over several months (longer than a year)—where Ben tirelessly, diligently, masterfully worked as the lead Attorney on defeating the entire case. All charges are being dismissed!
Let's go from the beginning of this adversarial legal process, where the Office of Administrative Hearings for the DMW was moving to immediately suspend my drivers license within the first ten days of the custodial arrest. After reading a legal notice prepared by Ben and the owner of the law firm which was promptly delivered to the Prosecutor/Police in advance of the DMV suspension hearing, Police elected not to file a police report within the 10-day period required to seek a suspension of my license with the DMV. This procedural issue resulted in an immediate dismissal of the DMV Implied Consent Hearing case. This is the first victory achieved in a very short amount of time after retaining Ben as my lead Attorney on the overall matter.
When you retain Ben as your legal advisor, you also receive the support of the entire team of lawyers at the law firm, including the owner of the law firm himself, Mark who has been in the business for 4 decades.
Why were the overall results of the case so highly favorable like this? The Officer who charged me with the most serious count never actually conducted Field Sobriety Tests to determine if there was PROBABLE CAUSE to reasonably charge me with DUII.
Ben highlighted this major mistake made by the Officer and crafted a plan on how exploit this major flaw to champion a cause for my vindication (legally, constitutionally, and according to statutory sources of case law), so that every advantage to my defense was methodically crafted.
What happened next was at the evidentiary hearing, where Ben cross examined the Officer, up to the point just shy of impeaching the Officer as a witness having all of his credibility drained for his placement of false misleading evidence into a Sworn Affidavit for an unconstitutional Search Warrant.
Ben effectively demonstrated why the Officer did this: BECAUSE HE DID NOT HAVE PROBABLE CAUSE for the highest count and charge of DUII from his own investigation. So, the Officer falsified and fabricated PROBABLE CAUSE by subsequently writing it into a misleading Sworn Affidavit.
How did Ben point this out to the Court? The video evidence from the Police Body Cameras (presented in Court) did NOT match the false misleading fabricated written reported evidence the Officer placed into the misleading Sworn Affidavit.
So yes, not just in Third-World countries can you get FRAMED, It happens like this right here in America practically every night and day.
Did the Officer get fired? Of course not, Oregon has a super liberal jurisdiction here. The Judge, Prosecutor, and Administration for the Police Force all work under the same umbrella and they look out for each other, even when incompetent, dishonest Police Officers do things like Lying in a Sworn Affidavit to fabricate evidence. This is the definition for liberal. Liberal for them, not for the accused.
The Court still wanted to Prosecute the case on all counts, even after the evidentiary hearing! The element of complexity was spiraling. Ben turned this foul ball into a home run!

When wrongfully sued in a civil case, I really did not know what to do. I contacted 4 different attorneys. The 1st one would not even hear the details about the case unless I paid him up front 1st.
