I got into a rough situation a little while back. I had a court appointed attorney but she wasn't doing a damn thing to help me. I met with Jesse and he said he couldnt promise me anything but said that he would fight for me. It took two years and 4 trial settings but he kept telling them that we wouldnt take a deal and that I wanted a trial and he got my case thrown out!

Hands down the best law firm! This is my 1st time going through the court system and I was facing 2 felony charges from the same incident. I needed to make sure that I had the best lawyers by my side. Through extensive research and going through reviews, I am so thankful I came across Austin Hagee Law Firm. Kyra and Austin handled my cases and they made an extremely stressful situation less stressful. From the beginning, Mr. Hagee reassured me that they will handle everything for me and to not worry. Kyra was so pleasant to speak to. I cried to her, shared my stress/frustrations and she was so kind, understanding and empathetic through it all.

I was referred to Mr. Joe Gonzales by a law enforcement colleague who had dealt with him several times while working cases at the DA’s office. I was given Mr. Gonzales’s cell number and calling him was the best decision I had ever made. My initial meeting and impression of Mr. Gonzales was that he was a professional and he listened attentively while I explained what had occurred that led up to my arrest and charge. He understood that I could not accept anything but a dismissal or an acquittal or I would lose my career and future goals. He advised me that he would be working with a team that included Mr. Christian Henrickson and that I would be getting two lawyers for the price of one. I struggled emotionally through a year and a half of court dates until the case went to trial. Despite all my fears, Mr. Gonzales and his team reassured me and I knew they believed in my innocence. When Mr. Gonzales goes into “trial mode” it’s amazing. His cross examinations of the prosecution’s witnesses and complainant were direct and strategically effective. The trial was very stressful for me and as we were waiting for the jury to return with their verdict after deliberation I will never forget how terrified I was and how Mr. Gonzales calmingly placed his hand on mine and smiled and said, “Do not lose your faith now.” He was confident until the very end and even when I had feared the worst he believed in my case. The jury came back very quickly with a unanimous decision and acquitted me of the charge. I will never forget what I went through to fight for the truth and I will never forget how hard Mr. Gonzales and his team fought for me. They were amazing and I felt so blessed to have them fighting in my corner. Joe, from the bottom of my heart I want thank you and will never forget what you did. I was very concerned about what attorney would represent me. I wanted and attorney that would they be fair and understanding to my case. I was driving up IH35 and saw a billboard with Joe Gonzales picture and phone number. I decided at this time I would like to schedule a meeting with him to discuss my case. My first meeting with Joe was professional and honest, he allowed me to discuss my side of the story without judgement. He listened attentively and made sure I understood the pros and cons to include the direction we should take to ensure I received deferred adjudication. Each time I was given a court date he was present and ready to go. Joe Gonzales met with the DA's office and negotiated the best deal for me. During the whole process I trusted Joe and he had my best interest at heart. Joe keeps you informed and he cares more about the client and the outcome.

I have never been in trouble with the law in my life. So, when I was charged with multiple class B felonies, it was incredibly stressful. Mr. Churak was able to get me a reasonable bond amount; lower than what I had researched for similar charges. Mr. Churak took care of all my hearings; I did not have to appear in court at all. It took a couple of years, but in the end, he got the case dismissed. I feel the amount he charged was more than reasonable, especially given the outcome. The total was $10,000, and honestly, it was the best money I've ever had to spend. I would definitely place my trust in him and his abilities again should the need ever arise again. It's not easy to decide whose hands you should place your life in when facing serious, potentially life changing criminal charges. I wholeheartedly recommend you seriously consider Mr. Gary Churak should you find yourself in legal jeopardy.

After I was arrested I searched for and spoke to numerous lawyers and felt no confidence. I began looking through the"Top 22 Lawyers" list and found the Law Offices of Daniel and Hudson. I spoke with the paralegal Brittany and she had a lawyer call me back within minutes. After speaking with the lawyer, Mr. Halstead (a military Veteran) I was more at ease and knew this was the right lawyer. The up front cost wasn't ridiculous and he was already making a plan on how to move forward. We spoke often at his office answering any questions I had and he also called me to let me know what was going on with my case. My charges were very serious and I was originally looking at a possible 25 years, but with his advice to hold out for a better outcome, it was 8 yrs, then it was just probation then it was dismissed. I owe it to Mr. Halstead for his knowledge of the criminal justice system and knowing when and how to present his case. I would "Highly" recommend Mr. Halstead in any criminal case because of his professionalism and knowledge base. Thanks to Mr.Halsted and his team (Brittany and Veronica) I got my life back!

I was in a big messy divorce and allegations arose of misconduct with my child ( to put it mildly ). After putting money down with a criminal lawyer that I will not name, I saw the beginning of a scary path because the lawyer lacked sufficient experience in these type of cases. So I looked up the Daniel and Hudson law firm and decided to present my case.
I was informed of what to expect and what not to expect. But throughout the conversations I’ve seen the experienced lawyers treating this case with diligence. What I experienced in the court room when my lawyer questioned the states negligence in facts and lack of officers experience in sensitive information was overwhelming to witness; since I would have never known what to expect in this type of case. My confidence with my lawyer Woody was further uplifted when the intern lawyer that I met during the trial proceedings told me that a lot of interns come to see him defend his clients. Mr Shaeffer helped my husband out with a situation that he found himself in. I can not express enough how grateful we are to have found him. He helped us out when we couldn't get a bond for my husband, and so he requested a speedy trial. He had my husband released in no time. Atascosa is a difficult county to deal with, and we will be forever grateful to Mr Shaeffer. Their first duty is to the court, if a judge tells any one of their lawyers not to wear a certain suit again they will bend over backwards. Their duty is not in the best interest of the child but to the court first! Do not hire this firm, they will not argue your case in court. They will let the judge violate your rights and help them do it. When I heard this from their attorney during the consultation I immediately asked where is the duty to your client and the best interest of the child? She hung up. When a lawyers says their first duty is to the court that means you should run! Don’t be to quick to hire an attorney, look around ask questions because lawyers like these will backstab their clients!

Mr. Hancock represented my son in a criminal case. There was much disappointment as my son and I did not feel like Mr. Hancock was actually fighting for him throughout the process. There was alot to be desired from Mr. Hancock during the process. Mr Hancock used the states investigative findings instead of doing his own investigation to fight for my son. He made a statement to me on a couple of occasionas that I wasn't a rich woman in regards to paying for an investigation for my son. I was told by another attorney, that the state would have covered the cost of an investigation for my son that was not done by this attorney. Mr Hancock used the states slanted data instead of collecting his own. My son has been in jail/prison for about 6 years now. I just wish that Mr. Hancock would have cared more about his client, my son. I don't understand how the lawyer, Mr. Hancock, kept asking the client, "what's the plan?" I may be wrong, but I thought the attorney should formulate the plan? If we were familiar with the law, we wouldn't need an attorney. My son's case could have turned out differently, if the one that represented him,did more on his behalf. My heart is broken!
