We contacted Lisa to get some assistance in dealing with Social Security, this lady was not only extremely well-informed on our issue, but she answered all our questions and give us options of how to proceed without her having to represent us.

Lisa is pleasant, organized, and effective. She's honest--never asked us to stretch the truth to benefit our case, which we greatly appreciated. To process a lot of cases at a time, she doesn't meet with clients until a hearing date is set, so don't expect an initial in-person interview. I feel she was respected by our judge for her integrity and hard work, and that helped my husband's case ("fully favorable" decision.)

I got a pretty bad speeding ticket because I was late going to my pregnant wife’s appointment to meet the specialist because she had a high risk pregnancy. The ticket I received was also a super speeder. My job requires that I have a clean record. I hired Kevin and he was able to help me get a great outcome. No points, no reporting to my MVR, this helps SO much because I work and drive a company vehicle for an insurance company. Kevin made the process very easy and seamless. Out of FOUR lawyers that I contacted, Kevin was the only one who was responsive, he was up front about his pricing and steps that I would need to take going forward. If you are reading reviews then I can assume that you are in a similar situation that I was in just a short time ago, looking for someone to represent me with SSDI. You are lost as what to do, you are scared, you are in constant pain and you can’t understand why you were denied benefits. You are looking for someone who understands what you are going through and can take away the stress.
Trust me, Tammy Holcomb is the person you want to represent you. My first conversation with Tammy, I had a gut feeling about her and her ability to win my case. Tammy is a professional lawyer who is very knowledgeable and understands the jargon to win your case. She was like my very best friend who worked hard long hours and was very patient and kind. I once sent her an email at 11:00 at night with a question, thinking that she would see it the next day. She responded in a couple of minutes. I can’t promise that she is available 24 hours a day but she always responded to any text, email or phone call in a very reasonable amount of time.

I couldn’t be more pleased with Allison Affleck from the company. My case had a change of venue and we faced a very difficult judge who did not allow Allison to present a proper case and ended up giving me a partial ruling. I appeal and ended up back with the judge. The whole time Allison was positive in obtaining the right documentation to submit and this time she was able yo cross examine the doctor the judge had. Everything went in my favor but the judge ruled against me. We appealed again and finally after over eight years received a fully favorable ruling taking my benefits back to day 1.
During the whole time Allison went above and beyond for me because she said I deserved the benefits. The whole firm was very professional and helpful. I could not be more pleased with the representation I received from Affleck and Gordon and I have and would recommend them to anyone especially. If I can give a higher rating I would.

Allison was superb during my third appeal for disability. I handled the first to myself and was declined and I should have called them from the beginning. I was nervous about hiring a lawyer and getting headwinked. Turns out it's a flat fee and worth every penny and more. I was a fool not to do it sooner.
During my hearing the trial lawyer was a real intimidating jerk, I hung up at the end in tears. Allison called me after the fact and assured me that in 2 months if we got a negative appeal we would just file a fourth one rest assured. She just plugged on and tried to put his demeanor out of her mind, asked all the right questions, and kept me focused about the facts. About 10 days later I got 100% positivity on my claim.
It wouldn't be fair not to give credit to Dawn, who handles all of the legwork, paperwork, back end stuff, from my initial call with her to the very end. She was there every step of the way. Flawlessly efficient, pacient, always returning my calls or emails within a day. Extremely competent law firm!
I just wish I called them from the start instead of going it alone for over 2 years!

Hey...I was out of work for almost 4 years, receiving long term disability payments from a long-term disability insurance provider I paid for through my job prior to becoming disabled and after only receiving monthly payments for about 3 years they abruptly and without notice cut me off and assertedthey believed I could work, with that policy being what I considered my "safety net" and no other money coming in I was devastated and the policy was supposed to pay me until the year 2037. I have under gone 3 VERY BRUTAL SPINAL SURGERIES and knew I couldn't work or do anything on a constant day to day basis ever again, I have over 100 implanted pieces of hardware (screws, rods, spacers etc)made of Chrome and Titanium in my spine from just below my neck all the way down my spine to where it ends, it was REDICULOUS to me that long-term disability insurance provider even said they believed I could work and worse they connected me with an SSDI "CONSULTANT AND REPRESENTATION" Company contracted through them, who did little or nothing to assist me with obtaining SSDI, in fact I learned they actually did things to create some confusion which prolong processes and caused me to get 2 denials . I was devastated and then I saw a video from Jonathan Ginsberg and immediately I found something I lost and didn't even realize it, which was HOPE and made contact and he took my case and now in less than 6 months im approved I am waiting most impatiently at this very moment to get paid, but not because of his office mostly just processing time dealing with SSA. He is a most extraordinary Attorney and understands what disabled people are and have been going through, listens, and does his job. I am SO GLAD I FOUND THE VIDEO AND REACHED OUT, There isn't anyrhing I regret and believe i have been well taken care of.

Bengtson has told me several times that his goals with clients are to treat us in such a way that we come back to him and refer people to him.
He has delivered on that for me.
He got a very crappy injury case of mine in a package deal from the attorney I'd originally hired to represent me in it several years ago.
That one finally settled and had nothing in it for me. Low policy limits and ongoing pain from it because it was a side hit, I didn't know what I was doing and took forever to get treated.
Total mess.
Bengtson was nice about it, and I asked what to do if I got into another accident (really when, because I drive a lot).
I got into another accident.
This one had a semi that caused it.
I called a couple of other lawyers to shop around, settled on him because I'd always been able to get questions answered by his paralegal.
When I came in for the initial consultation he gave me a $3000 check from the case with no money it it. He'd promised to give me something out of it when it was being mediated, but basic arithmetic said I was getting zero so I hadn't bothered to check back.
He DOES NOT use an answering service! So if someone picks up they actually work in the same office (there's a paralegal who works for another lawyer &/or a guy who works reception who pick up the phone occasionally)
The semi truck case settled recently and that was a life changing check for me.
(Partly because I'd wisely let all needy @$$h03$ exit my life without letting them know I was getting anything good out of the accident)
But I haven't had to work since it showed up. And I bought my own place with it too.
It was near the bottom of what Bengtson said my case could bring in, but it was plenty so I was fine with it.
He indicated we could definitely go to court if I wanted, and I think that did have a somewhat higher likely payout for me.
