I have been fighting to get disability since 2021 and with the help of this law firm I am happy to report after 2 appeals and a court hearing I have been approved to receive disability! I was in a really bad hit and run car accident June 6, 2023. I took my time to review plenty of attorneys before I found Boohoff Law. The reviews I read about them were unbelievailable. So I decided to call them. The very next day Michelle Pieller reached out to me and started working for me right away. Within days they found all my medical services & facilities I needed right away. Not only they found them right away but everyone of them were within 5 miles or less away from where I lived. As a matter of fact my very 1st service was within walking distance but of course I drove because of the car accident I was just involved in. Then they even went a step further and made sure not only were they close but all the facilities provided top notch service. They continued to stay in touch with me throughout this whole terrible process to make sure I was alright. Jocelyn and Linsey were the key players in helping complete my case when I was rear-ended. I was recommended them through word of mouth and I would definitely recommend them to others as well - the process was kept clear and they communicated the process very well with me. Knowing nothing about law or the lawsuit process, I’m glad I reached out to them as they were able to work with me to get me the help I needed (Physical therapy, MRI scans, etc.) to get me back healthy like before the accident occurred and maximized the return we were able to get out of the case. I was having some serious issues with both my employer and L&I, lack of communication with L&I, my benefits randomly getting cut off, total lack of professionalism IMO. I was referred to Sue Holm by a good friend of mine, I contacted her, told her my story, we discussed terms and I signed her on. IMMEDIATELY things got Infinitely better for us, payments came on time, if there was ever an issue I'd send off an email to Sue and it was handled promptly.
I tried multiple times to gift her money, gift cards etc, because I felt that she was very under paid for the work she was doing, but she denied them every single time. Sue is very passionate and knowledgeable with her work, she doesn't take any gruff off anyone, myself included. If she felt I was doing something out of pocket, or had any issue with me at all, it was very direct and to the point. Which I absolutely love in a person, no beating around the bush, no guess work.
I simply can not put into words the gratitude myself and my family have for what she has done for us in our battle against L&I and my employer, we thought we were going to be homeless, lose my job, even have to pay back almost $50,000. But we had a true warrior on our side, and it was worth every single penny. Even though she didn't get enough pennies. I do not recommend anyone else but Sue Holm when I hear someone is having an issue with work related injuries. And if, good forbid, I ever get injured at work again, even if it's a simple paper cut, I'm not doing any thing first before contacting her. She'll hear from me before a doctor sees me. L&I is not there for the workers, they're there for the corporations, you need someone that's there for you, and there simply is no one better than Sue. If she says "do this", GO DO IT! Communicate with her, and listen to her advice. When you need a dog in the fight for you, Sue is the Cane Corso you need.

I had contacted a disability attorney whose office was close to me. He didn’t even listen to me or return my call. I was distraught. If you’re at the point you need a disability lawyer, you are already in pain and in need, financially. I read the reviews on AVVO on Susan Holm. I took the chance and called her. She screened my case during the call. She accepted my case. She met with me. After sitting with me for a few hours, we filled out what would be a saving grace for me. Susan’s counsel and advice and more importantly, compassion, helped me through the process. There are questions that she asked me that I wouldn’t have thought of on my own that I’m sure helped my case. I guess you can go through the system on your own but I wouldn’t suggest it. Someone like Susan has years of experience that will help give you clear expectations for your case. I was fortunate enough to have my case approved the first time through, within 4 months. I am not expected to return to work given my extensive health problems, but I am glad I will be receiving SSDI benefits to help with my lost income. Having it approved the first time is not the norm, by far. And by no means should you take away from me that your case will be approved the first time, or if it is, within 4 months. What I can honestly tell you is that I have no doubt that the assistance from Susan in preparing the application the first time did help. Susan anticipated what would definitely help. Her years of experience is so valuable in that regard. For me, going to Susan was worth it. I have no qualms about suggesting Susan to anyone seeking SSDI. I would suggest that before you meet with her, you gather all these important items: Doctor’s full names, their addresses, their phone and fax numbers, what they’re treating you for, the last appointment date you had with them, the next future appointment date, all medications you’re taking and for what conditions, ALL possible conditions you’ve been diagnosed with, and a journal of your physical and mental struggles. Also, employer’s FMLA documentation may help as well as the last 6 months of paystubs. I was prepared and Susan appreciated the preparation. Good luck and I hope health returns to you. But in any case, I hope you get the financial help from SSDI. I needed competence in a lawyer. I hoped for compassion considering my circumstances. Susan Holm provides both.

I appreciate Dusty Deisner if it were not him and his staff I not be here and many others. I was on the job on the company time clock in a company vehicle going to work site stopped for seven school kids at lunch and pedestrian cross school zone when lady travelinmf over 50 in a 20 hit me and car directly from the back. 100 percent disabled Wa state labor and industries as well as Negligent insurance companies denied me medical treatment since 052902 to save so many lives 8-9 total no less and be denied medical treatment 13 years to become 100 percent physically disabled Wa State further disabled a disabled by the injury and negligence of no recovery to find out nothing nobody may do its too late damage done and my disability worsens falls seizures and eleven doctors later many medical staffs later well I love them and I'm grateful here's why got to fall in love and be loved no money can determine life from my heart thank you Dustin Deisner its not about money in a case its about our lives all lives matter and to make things right when they are not. Thank you for helping, others when you held U.S. up when we U.S. in no way could help ourselves. I was hurt saving 8 children's lives and several major accidents no fault of mine in a city bus all I remember is waking up in a morgue in the hospital to a lady screaming he's alive get the doctor now. They said hang in their. Went years fighting for my life and others lives in the same situation Insurance negligence Government Negligence all criminal and civil against the law. Scary thing is this happened several times its all i remember. Lifetime of complications for all our lives too be saved including children in my original accident. I injured both of my arms right and left. Falling downstairs doing in home care. On the day of my mediation halfway through, my attorney admitted, he got me confused with another lady in Harrison Idaho, my last name is Harrison. As I wanted to hold out , while the mediator joked and made light of work injuries, I am right handed.My right arm doesn't work correctly, I did a lot of work in my church. I am a homemaker. I take a lot of pride in my home being a place of comfort and inviting to people, I used to bake and feed people, and so the job that I had for wages, wasn't my main job, even though I didn't bring home a salary for it. My" job" was taking care of my home and my church and my husband and serving god with my two hands. The thing I did to make money injured me, because the lady I was working for didn't let me know that her staircase ,in the spring would move when the basement flooded. It moved.I fell, I hurt my right elbow and my left wrist, and now all the things I used to do to serve God and others I cannot do any longer. None of this meant anything to my attorney at the mediation. As I kept holding out because I didn't know how I would end up the rest of my life with these 2 injuries he kept telling me dead. There was gonna be so security disability. There was gonna be a medical fund. And so this was just the first part of the mediation for my injury. I even thought I would just go to court because I thought my case was so different than so many other people At that point, my attorney didn't want to go to court. It was obvious He was not wanting to go to court to represent me, who I am. He told me scary things about, if the judge was in a bad mood, I would lose everything. He, and I am ashamed to say, my husband, with pressure from the "mediator " talked me onto taking an offer, which I knew, would not compensate me for paying people to do for me, what I had always done for myself. Gardening, lawn care, house work, cleaning the church, changing my own oil, recently I paid Ford $600.00 for changing plugs and oil in my truck. This I used to do at a fraction of the cost. But none of this was considered, I was a part time worker to them all. After that nightmare, the medical portion was to be settled, that's when I found out, I didn't have enough "points" for SSI disability, so any leverage from SSI to keep SIF accountable did not exist. My Attorney told me the day of mediation , SSI would cause pressure for SIF to cover me medically...NOT. He was incorrect and when I , out of concer, asked him if he was doing okay, he had made a few errors in my doctors name and other odd statements which didn't pertain to me, he accused me of questioning his integrity and told me I could get a different Attorney. By then I was hurting, depressed and totally vulnerable and my attorney, the one person who supposedly knows the ins and outs of the system, chewed me out and threatened me that I could "go it alone" if I thought I could do better. I couldn't make any decisions, I was so down. I didn't think the Attorney was going to take part of the medical bank. I thought he got paid for working the entire case from my mediation, so I didn't think I could pay up front for another attorney, just another thing I misunderstood when my attorney told me the medical is put in the bank, in my name and I had comple control over it. I was told it is a new way SIF and all other workers comp. In Idaho are now doing things, rather than keep a claim open for treatment. I am not pleased at all. My best intrest was not even considered. All because in the beginning my Attorney didn't ever find out and set in his mind, who I am.

I felt like an attorney would be my best option for assistance. In total I worked with Hatfield Law (HL) for a little over two years regarding my disability case.
The HL office quickly jumped in to assist and constantly kept me informed. I provided them with the info needed to get started. They literally took care of the rest. It can become overwhelming reading and filling out paperwork. And having a dedicated attorney support helped me in times I felt like i couldn’t continue alone.
At times, contacting the law office by phone was difficult, and voicemails sometimes went unanswered. But Mr. Hatfield provided me with e-mails he and staff could also be reached. HL exhibited organization, professionalism and true passion for the clients they serve. I recommend Hatfield Law.

I think it is safe to say that nobody ever wants to need a disability attorney, however; unfortunately, life and accidents happen. I hired Garguile when I received a traffic ticket with special circumstances. Basically, I was behind a landscaping truck in the slow lane that started losing debris out of their uncovered trailer. I was afraid to get debris on my car for fear of something coming through the windshield. When it was safe to do so, I passed on the fast lane and exceeded the speed limit in doing so. I immediately went back to the slow lane only to get pulled over for speeding. While I admit I was speeding, I did so for the safety of my family, and it was for seconds to get around the trailer that was not covered as it should have been spilling debris all over the road.
Garguile was very responsive, communicated great, and ultimately got the ticket dismissed.
I could have paid the ticket, but the cost of increased insurance premiums over time would have far exceeded the cost of Garguile - not to mention the special circumstances that I thought was a reasonable exception and wanted to prove my point to WSP.
Insurance companies profit billions of dollars a year, I didn't want to give them another reason to add to their greedy profits!

Look no Further! I do not even know how to start or express my sincere Gratitude for this family ran law firm. If your like me you have spent hours/days to try and find someone to hear you out, once you finally get a meeting, you feel hesitant because you feel like most of the other firms are there to treat you like a number and another paycheck.
:ets put it this way, My L&I Claim Manager said this, Todd and his Law firm is unique among the rest of them and its unheard of for most law firms once they lock you into a contract to be willing to be consistent, as responsive and willing to do what's ethically and morally right for you. I had my workers compensation claim approved quickly with the help of Todd and his family (Law firm) compared to when I was trying to do it on my own it was like pulling teeth. Which don't do it, it really adds insult to injury and the extra stress makes the recovery even harder.
I had blown out my lower back on the job but I think the injury doesn't matter as some lawyers say they are experts for your specific injury and others may not be. IMO this is an attempt to convince you to go with them but Todd Doran has the experience and any case relevant to Washington Workers compensation or an L&I claim is relevant to his practice in my opinion because ethics and understanding play a greater weighted roll when your talking about life changing injuries and looking for someone to help you for the long term.
I could say more but it would become a book and I wasn't paid to write this, I was represented by Todd Doran and his Law office and truly appreciated what he did for me.
