I have worked with Bruce Zef tel for over 20 years on varfious legal matters. He had done two Real Property Assessment challenges for us, represented us in litigation matters, and served as a mediator/advocate on an insurance claim matter where the insurance company refused coverage. Bruce succeeded in obtaining the coverage.

On August 27th at 2:00 PM EST, I called your office seeking legal advice and assistance. Unfortunately, I encountered an individual who displayed an unprofessional and discourteous attitude. When I initially explained my situation, she abruptly informed me that your office does not handle such matters and hung up without allowing me to ask any further questions.
I called back to inquire about the specific cases your office does handle, as I believe my civil rights have been violated. However, before I could fully articulate my question, she interrupted, stating, "I said we don’t handle this, and I said have a great day," and then hung up on me once again.
Frustrated by this lack of assistance, I called a third time to request to speak with a supervisor. On two separate occasions, she answered the phone only to immediately hang up. When she finally responded, she simply said, "Please stop calling."
I would like to bring this matter to the attention of her supervisor, as this behavior reflects a lack of customer service skills and professionalism. It is disheartening to encounter such a response, especially when reaching out for help in a difficult situation. Individuals who prioritize dismissing potential clients over offering assistance should not be in positions where they interact with the public. As a college student in need of legal help, I expected better treatment.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously and that appropriate steps are taken to ensure others do not experience the same level of disregard.

I can’t say Thank You enough to this law firm and Eric Winnert! We live approximately 5 hours from the office and Eric came to our home to get the much needed paperwork signed by my very ill spouse for a mesothelioma law suit. Poor man had to drive through the snow belt in February just to make sure we got what was needed before anything happened. Whenever I have questions and need to contact him, he is always there to give me answers. He has walked me step by step through every part of the process as my spouse was terminal and passed. Even when I haven’t bothered him in awhile, he will shoot me a text with any needed updates on our case! He’s very caring, empathetic , and personable with his clients and their family! No matter what we threw at him he always had a smile and a chuckle while maintaining his professionalism! I became a client of Hurwitz Whitcher & Malloy in November of 2020 due to injuries I sustained transporting equipment to Work from Home during the pandemic on April 7, 2020. I already have a disability, born missing my left limb & no joint in my right thumb. I have been with Sawer & Sackel for 3 separate workers comp claims and have been very unsatisfied until recently. Up until Holly took ownership in my cases I was left wondering what was going on. I was the one that had to initiate any and all inquiries into correspondences from the insurance carrier. And I rarely spoke with a lawyer and it was Never the same individual. Since working with Holly things have change my thinking entirely. She has taken ownership in my case and has gone above and beyond my expectations (or at least what my expectations of a law firm should be) and have reaffirmed my choice in a workers compensation law firm. I’ve been with Sawers & Sackel for a few months. From day one, they have been professional and answered all of my questions. Going through this process has been difficult. Aside from the office staff/paralegal this was an abysmal experience. I met with Michael and explained what I was looking for from him. In the initial meeting he told me a little about the process and charged us the fee.
I didn’t hear back from him for 3.5 months. When I called him to ask for an update you could hear the panicked paper rustling in the background. He said he’s been meaning to call me and set up a meeting for me to sign what he prepared, basically a two page document riddled with errors. He said he would keep me posted along the way.
I didn’t hear from him again for a couple weeks when I again reached out to him. He said he would call me the next week with an update.
Two weeks later I had to call him for an update because he never reached out.
The work I needed from him was eventually completed but I can’t help but feel like I was his lowest priority client and he made no efforts to communicate with me.
I will be looking for another law firm for my future estate planning and real estate needs.
I’m sure some of the lawyers here are fantastic because there are so many good reviews and my families attorney had recommended them, but I will not be using this firm again.

Mr. Winspear is the most experienced tax lawyer around. My accountant was not equipped to deal with the IRS for an audit so I looked for a well qualified attorney. Mr. Winspear was the right choice. He is extremely knowledgeable, very professional, and made me feel at ease through this very stressful process. When I called him with questions he either answered the phone or got back to me very quickly. I also found his fees very reasonable. I hope to never have to deal with the IRS again, but if I do I feel much better knowing that Bill is just a phone call away.

For half my life, it seems, I have been battling with the taxing authorities. Being a small businessman is hard enough, when it comes to the taxing authorities often your best is not good enough. That is to be expected, I suppose, but when they get you in their crosshairs, "Look Out!" After living in fear of opening my mail, countless audits, and visits from revenue agents, I finally found Mr. Winspear and he resolved my issues in short order. He was fair, even handed, and not a rip off (not something I can say from some of my past dealings with attorneys). Thank You, from me and my family, Mr. Winspear, you saved my life.
