Scott Sanders of Sanders & Montalto contacted my law firm in approximately 2007 because he was suing a manufacturer that failed to pay substantial commissions to a sales rep from my state of Pennsylvania. Since the lawsuit was to be filed in Pennsylvania, we acted as local counsel and together with his firm obtained a settlement for our client. Since that time, I have also acted as co-counsel with Mr. Sanders on behalf of other sales reps on multiple occasions in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. All such cases were successfully resolved. I recently did some Estate planning with the Cox Law Group.
I could not be more pleased with the results. While I was doing my research, Cynthia Cox took the time to fully explain the strategies we would be implementing. She laid everything out in an email and was available by phone to fully explain every detail and answer my many questions. Beti did a fantastic job. She is compassionate and honest, direct and patient with us when it was warranted. Very skilled in interpreting or reading the courtroom's temperature. She comes prepared and manages precarious courtroom situations with aplomb.
Everything that needed to be done, she managed to pull it all together, handled promptly with great detail by her and her office. I am extremely pleased with the successful outcome of our case!

I hired Beti to represent me in a family dispute that had been brewing and knew would become extremely contentious. To save costs, Beti directed the associate lawyer who later left but then was replaced by another associate attorney, Lorne who was very detail oriented, responsive and capable. I was always advised honestly of what would happen. Beti and Lorne did not escalate any matter in order to pad their bill. Beti is a tough lawyer and not afraid to fight. But she and her associate always gave me the landscape of options and what would happen if I chose one option over the other. And when I did chose an option, they played a strong hand. It was a painfully emotional and protracted ordeal, and in the end, it concluded in a way that I still kept my rights, stopped the one upsmanship with the other side, and my restored my well-being.

I met Beti almost two years ago after my husband helped me search and search and finally narrow down the right attorney to represent my case. Her area of expertise, in living trusts, probation and litigation, was exactly what I was looking for. However, her upmost qualities of being a mother and protecting family values is what connected me to her. Beti and her team, at Peninsula Law, were amazing to work with. From the first consult Stoller provided a lot more detail of what to expect during probate, schedule, pace, statutory and extraordinary fees than the other consults I had which I appreciated as a granular person myself.
When we were working together he helped me with family dynamics, real estateclosings, ancillary estates and guidance on what is proper as a Probate administrator.
As is typical with probate it was a long slog but eventually we got it resolved. I appreciate all that he and his team did for me to help me start the next chapter of my life.

A very long overdue thank you to Sibylle Grebe and Lorenzo Stoller for taking control of a seemingly out-of-control situation during the early days of Covid in 2020 in protecting my father and his estate from his deceased wife's children. I initially met with Sibylle to have her represent my dad after his wife had passed, in figuring out how to best protect his assets. While she was unable to represent him due to capacity issues, she was able to represent me. Sibylle had me move quickly to find the original trust documents which had likely been drafted without much input from my father a few years earlier, floating everything from making sure I had co-power of attorney and co-trustee powers on all the documents to considering a conservatorship. Lorenzo then took over the case and seamlessly helped draft new documents that protected my father and helped me keep oversight over his wife's children. My dad now resides with me in Washington state, and has since regained some capacity. Although he has shaky recollection of that year due to the stress of his grief and Covid, I am forever grateful to The Probate House for doing what needed to be done to protect the livelihood for which he had worked his entire life as a physician in Los Angeles. At 85, he has never been happier and is healthy. As a former estate planning and probate attorney, The Probate House is easily the best. Thank you, Sibylle and Lorenzo.

Kevin Gordon is the most incompetent attorney. He did not answer my calls or emails. He did not pay attention to details in forms when filing with the city and documents were returned, then he did not follow through, but tell me that he was busy with something else. Even the opposing party threatened him with reporting him to the bar. He drafted a settlement that did not protect me as his client. At the end, he just told me to get another attorney. Wow. It is unfortunate that his practicing.

Very unhappy with the outcome of my case. It was handled unprofessionally. And l fought with the attorney the whole way. I had to file with the BAR twice. I hired Legacy and was told will take it to trial. During mediation l was told to settle today or l could lose everything, because they were not going to represent me in court. Then the attorney settled the case against my will. I was forced to settle for considerably less than the original trust stated.

I spoke to Ms. Brown and her paralegal, Carol, a couple of months ago regarding the conservatorship of my daughter, who is in a longterm care facility. I talked to Carol several times before speaking to Ms. Brown. Based upon my experience with a previous attorney, I was taken by the compassion, understanding and kindness that Carol showed me in those initial encounters. She offered me some ideas for handling a particularly difficult situation before setting up an appointment with Ms. Brown. When the need became more pressing, I finally talked to Christine, who took a practical approach to the predicament in which I found myself and in the end, saved me from a prolonged court fight and significant fees. I can't recommend this firm highly enough. In my experience, there aren't many attorneys who will take on conservatorship matters as they can be fraught with emotion and contentiousness. These women have kind hearts and that is rare in the legal profession, whether due to training or personality. I found in this firm that it is possible to have compassion and still be professional.

Christine Brown and her staff made what we thought would be a very difficult process very easy. She has a wonderful sense of humor which is important in tense situations.
She is very attentive to details and makes sure everything is included in the trust as well as all supportive documents.
My wife and I have already recommended her to a number of our friends.

Walt helped my husband and I establish a living trust and wills for both of us. He is very knowledgeable; offering suggestions and situations for our consideration so that we had a comprehensive final product. He ensured that we understood the all aspects of the documents. He even called us on a Friday evening to answer our last minute questions so that everything was ready to be signed when we went to his office the following week. My family hired Mark Velez after our former attorney withdrew from our case. It was the best decision that we have ever made! Mark is the most friendly, compassionate, honest, trustworthy, caring, and knowledgeable attorney that I have ever met! Mark was always going above and beyond and always stayed on top of our case! I hired Casey because he helped a friend of mine through a divorce with a narcissist. He was her third attorney and the couple were fighting over peanuts. I was open and first interviewed several attorneys before choosing him. I liked him because, during my first conversation with him, he chatted with me over the phone for about an hour. Gave me solid free advice. After hiring him, I had no regrets. I was divorcing a narcissist too, a covert narcissist. If anyone knows anything about narcissism, you will know that they are the most difficult, toxic, and delusional people to get out of your life. At first, my ex (in narc vocabulary we call that Nex) was representing himself Proper. Casey made many attempts to meet with him to help resolve things. To no avail. Because my nex had refused to meet, Casey requested a trial with the courts. Los Angeles County is so backed up that it took 6 months just to get an appointment to meet with the judge to schedule a trial. Then that was another 3-4 months after that where we had a mandatory mediation date scheduled and if we didn't come to a resolution there would be a trial a month after that (I was told 99% of the time, cases get resolved at the mediation). All was finally on-track and then Covid hit and all cases were dropped and canceled. My new court date was in fall 2020 exactly 1 year from my initial request for a trial (obviously, none of this was Casey's fault). Eventually my nex got a lawyer and made bogus claims. Ridiculous, crazy claims that he was entitled to more of my home than he actually was. Casey knows his field. I am beyond amazed how intelligent he is. He taught me that I had a Family Code Section 2640 Reimbursement which is a pre-existing interest in my home (I had no idea). Since I had owned it prior to marriage, had my own money invested into it and it appreciated in value. We had done a remodel to the home before and during the marriage and there were some grey areas as to who owned how much. Casey helped me by having me get a historical appraisal, taught me what a Moores Marsden calculation was, and many other things. (I'm a Realtor and being educated in this has helped me with my own clients going through a divorce too). My nex tried all sorts of games, throwing stuff at us last minute. We were ready to go to trial and Casey had to file a "Motion in limine" which is where you get a judge to throw something out of court based on blatant evidence and proof prior to the trial so you don't spend your time discussing their bogus accusations and attend to the actual issues. Basically, we were requesting the other side's testimony to be excluded. We won that part of my trial because of Casey. If you want someone that is professional, intelligent, comes across with class and poise then Casey is your man. I would say the only room for improvement would be that his assistant would send me info from the other side with no explanation of what they were and I would get upset. It would be nice to be explained how it all works a little more perhaps. That said, not sure if I want to pay for the education. I would recommend Casey to anyone. I honestly feel that he genuinely cared about me. He also picked up on my nex being passive-aggressive. My ex is a "wolf in sheep's clothing". Plays the victim constantly and tries to come across with great effort that he is a model member of society. He literally fake-cried in front of Casey to try to elicit his sympathy. Casey didn't buy it and stood by my side to help me. Even when I just wanted to be out and move on, he reminded me how my nex had treated me the whole time. So that I would fight for what I was entitled to. I appreciated that because even I sometimes would be manipulated and feel sorry for my ex. I have seen a few divorce attorneys and perhaps I'm generalizing but the few I saw, I found quite slimy and dirty. I don't think it's in Casey's nature to be that way. Casey Olsen recently brought an abrupt resolution to a divorce "science project" that had been going on for a year and a half before I hired Casey. I had two previous attorneys that were not able to get any traction whatsoever with opposing counsel. My two previous attorneys just kept asking for more money, while opposing counsel just kept stonewalling. In my first consultation with Casey, not only was he very knowledgeable but he also had a plan. He even called opposing counsel right there on the spot in the consultation. I had heard a lot of horror stories about how many attorneys will purposely keep both sides at odds to draw things out longer so they can rack up more billable hours. This absolutely was not the case with Casey. Casey chose the course of action that was in my best interest and not the best course for his pocket. His actions and direction brought a swift resolution and an end to a nightmarish lengthy situation. If you are in need an attorney with integrity, knowledge and who is responsive when you need answers, then I highly recommend Casey Olsen. I had enough experience with previous attorneys in the past to know a great one when I found him.

Casey Olsen has been my counsel since 2004. He is responsive, thorough, creative and extremely insightful regardless of the complexity of the matter or the how odious the opposing counsel could be.

I am writing this to give the highest review to Bruce! He is an extremely experienced and supportive attorney who has a very affordable rate. Bruce proposed the simplest and quickest solution to my custody case, so I felt at ease and knew that he wasn’t milking me for billable time. Yolanda, the paralegal who also worked on my case, is incredibly responsible and supportive. She frequently reassured me that everything would work out and gave me great advice. The bottom line is that Bruce and Yolanda aren’t just great legal professionals, they are great PEOPLE.

If I could give negative stars of Bruce A. Mandel, I would!
This was the WORST experience I've ever had with an attorney, or any professional, by far!
Issues include:
- A crucial missed deadline, even though I supplied all necessary information 2 full days in advance.
- 2 more almost-missed deadlines. My counsel literally asked me to sign documents at 11pm twice, with midnight deadlines, even though I had supplied all requested information far in advance.
- Several unanswered emails, miscommunication and lack of communication for months.
- Bad advice from Bruce that almost cost me 50/50 custody of my son.
- Bruce was absent during the only scheduled court hearing we had, and it was not caused by an emergency, he simply booked 2 cases at the same time on the same date, even though he told me his calendar was clear on my scheduled court date.
- Extremely low quality work product in general, largely due to the constant last-second scrambling.
- Incorrect / unethical billing.
- Complete failure to follow-through on the things we discussed, and he even failed to execute a 50/50 Custody Order for more than 4 months after a judge ordered him to write up that order, and I reminded him multiple times!
- A massive misunderstanding regarding a 3rd court continuance, even though I emailed Bruce 4 times and called him once to make sure he understood the issues, he ended up making a massive blunder that essentially gave up our advantages entirely.
- Bruce finally illegally withdrew from the case while the case was still ongoing, resulting in extremely damaging client abandonment less than 24 hours before a scheduled call with opposing counsel.
I have filed a complaint with the CA State Bar, and demanded Arbitration of fees already. I am also in talks with a malpractice attorney, as I believe Bruce's failures to perform basic attorney functions have cost me more than just his fees at this point.
Run, don't walk, to any family law attorney OTHER Than Bruce A Mandel!

This has been the most disappointing experience. They do not return calls they failed to inform us that they received our checks over a month ago but I'm sure they got paid right away. Constant reminders about sending out papers they should have. They missed our court date. Shady to say the least. Anyone is better than this legal service.

Met with this guy for a "Free Consultation" after briefly speaking to him on the phone earlier. Had a bad feeling the moment I entered the premises. Explained why I was there and what I was seeking in regards to my ongoing issue with the "Trustee" of my late father.
He asked me to provide him with a specific document to review, before he would be able to help me, and determine if there was a case to be sought. Unfortunately, I didn't have it wit me so I said I would go home and fax it to him for review. As I was walking out his office, I made a "Big Mistake" and handed him a check (Retainer Fee) for what he charged for his service, $3,500.00 along with a signed retainer agreement. I asked him to only deposit the check if he could help me, since i had to move some funds around so the check would be good. I told him that this was in "GOOD FAITH", so he would know that I wasn't going to waste his time. I heard back from him that evening that he received the document and thanked me. I did not hear back from him for 2 1/2 weeks. He sent me an e-mail on his opinion of the document and what he over all thought. It wasn't what I was hoping for.
Here's my point, I met with him. The same day I faxed him what he needed to see before he could tell me he will take on the case, and that he could definitely help me. I never heard back from him other that an e-mail, stating that he received the Document I faxed to him. He knew that same day, that after reviewing the info I faxed over to him, there was no case, and that he wouldn't be able to help me. Instead he ran to the bank and cached my $3,500.00 "GOOD FAITH CHECK" and disappeared for over 2 1/2 weeks. I guess his reasoning was to hide out and avoid me until he could justify charging me for the "Free Consultation", my numerous brief e-mails trying to reach him, and my phone calls when my patience began to run out! If he had any integrity, he would have just given my check back and honestly said, I CAN'T HELP YOU'!
Now to get my money back, I will have to take him to SMALL CLAIMS COURT'!
So, if you don't want to have the same bad experience I had, be more careful in selecting an attorney from the get go, one that you feel comfortable with.
Always go with your 1st impression! Don't make the same mistake I did.

Mr. Borden I will admit in court he is a very good attorney. But i would not recommend him. I made him my administrator to my estate and he wasn't faithful to his duties. He did us very wrong. At thr end he sided with the respondent.

After my fathers recent visit with Peter Keon to update his Will/Trust my father reports that Mr. Peter A. Keon treated him very unprofessionally and condescending. My father even scheduled an interpreter for their meeting and Mr. Keon kept insisting that my father should, “speak English” repetitively. Mr. Keon even made and comment to my father “you’re crazy” regarding something he didn’t agree with.
The interpreter was passive as she wasn’t equipped to translate correctly or even advocate for my father. My father felt miss represented throughout the entire meeting as Mr. Keons unprofessional demeanor resulted in Mr. Keon walking up out his seat to handle other matters as the translator was interrupting what my father was stating.
Mr. Keon’s was not only passive aggressive with certain statements and comments towards my father in the meeting but he was also very discriminating that my farther felt the aggression and had to walk out the meeting.
This company has been overall extremely disappointing and unprofessional. My father mentioned that it took several weeks to get this meeting scheduled with this law firm. To get treated this way is truly insensitive toward their clients. Especially ones who pay for their service.
We Do Not recommend this company to other and if you’re looking to get involved Stay Away especially if you are a Latino. The company is Not worth your time and especially not your money. My father no longer wants to be represent by this law firm and will take his assets elsewhere.
