I was a client after a dog attacked my dog and I. The overall quality of service was great. I was very far out of my element as far as what I could even do. But the staff was incredibly helpful and very compassionate. They understood how much I care about my dog and how painful it was to see him hurt and suffering. They worked hard with the insurance company and kept us updated on how things were going. They returned with a settlement that was fair and would cover medical and vet bills. I sometimes felt overwhelmed by everything but never like I was fighting alone. I would highly recommend their service.

On February 6, 2014 I didn’t know what I was going to do about being denied surgery due to a work injury. I was referred to Mike McDonald, and cannot say enough about him and his team. Mike's experience and passion for his clients needs shows thru as soon as you meet him. In this case, I had a back injury from an auto accident. The defendant's insurance company wasn't accepting full responsibility for the situation. After a near 6 year fight trying to achieve a disability adjudication hearing, without success, I turned to Melissa. She was thorough in her initial intake, she maintained/endured constant communication and I do mean constant communications from myself to her office and responded every time. Not once did she ask me to please stop. I was appreciative of her understanding, compassion, desire to "get this one done".
While the outcome was not a slam dunk victory and fell well short of overall expectations, she still achieved a favorable decision from the judge. I would have appreciated the considerations that Melissa had provided me, from the adjudication process of the administration itself. The system is flawed. It needs repaired. When I came to Melissa i was very discouraged having been denied my social security disability claim, after a LONG wait, coupled with having to leave my job that i loved and enjoyed. Do not call this law firm. I am just now receiving a past due notice for an invoice from May of this year for a service that was never provided. It was promised, talked about on the phone but never delivered. The simple document I was requesting was a liability waiver release form for a tour service for my Lancaster county Business: which is now Offering guided hiking tours in beautiful Lancaster county. I never saw any kind of email from this law firm let alone document that I had requested. Somehow they are perfectly able to send invoices to my email. Interesting.

She was a very kind and knowledgeable attorney at the beginning of my divorce. As it progressed and we were in negotiations she never returned a phone call or email. She charged me an hour of consultation when I was only there for 30 minutes. She told me she had another client. If I knew I was going to be charged for an hour I would have stayed. At the end of negotiations I could never get in touch with her. She never responded. Even when I met with her at the end I felt like she was so over my case. No I would not recommend her.
