My mom and I hired Maguire Law Firm to handle my dad's wrongful death case. When we met Ian Maguire I knew he would be the person to guide us through our loss and legal battle ahead. Our case was assigned to Tiffany Buffkin. I never experienced such care from lawyers as we did with Ian and Tiffany. I hate to use this expression, but Tiffany is a bulldog. She's just what you need to fight for your rights. Towards my mom and I, she was the sweetest, kindest person we could ever hope to represent us. Ian was just as caring and spent time with us to explain everything as we went through the process. They both handled my 83 year old mother with so much respect and care. I have only the best of things to say about Maguire Law Firm. From the first call that we made to them after my wife’s accident to the final disbursement of our settlement, we were treated with respect, compassion and professionalism. We were able to conduct the bulk of our business with them via email and over phone and they handled everything. We were also treated well by their office support staff on the occasions that we visited their office.

I have had the pleasure of having Alan Bass as my attorney for several years. My first case will Alan was for a shoulder injury that I sustained and subsequently needed several surgeries to fix. Without Alan's expert advise and help my shoulder would not be in as good of shape as it is today. So naturally when I was involved in a serious traffic collision that caused me to injure my back the first person I thought of going to was Alan. After almost 4 years and a major back surgery I can honestly say that Alan and his staff has worked tirelessly for me and my case to ensure that I received all the necessary treatment to get me back to as close to normal as I could get. July 2021 while residing in Greenville, South Carolina, I was rear ended resulting in a roll over and totaling my car. As I laid inside of my car awaiting extraction, I knew I was going to need a personal injury lawyer as this was way more than a fender bender.
The morning after the accident I met my personal lawyer and while meeting with him asked if he knew of a reputable personal injury lawyer. He did: Mr. Joel Hughes in the law office of Kenneth Berger in Columbia, SC.
Mr. Hughes contacted me right away and met me at my house within a couple days. He assured me Berger's office does work all over the State of SC.
Immediately, I knew I was in good hands. Mr. Hughes questions were stop on and lots of information was exchanged in the next few days.
I was assured I could contact Mr. Hughes at any time, for any reason; something I did often.
Mr. Hughes took over, allowing me the time to heal and recover. He did all the heavy lifting, all the calls, organizing of medical records, all the negotiations. I was always kept informed. My input was asked for. My settlement was my decision. I was never pressured.
My case took 15 months to settle, basically until I was released from my Doctors. In that 15 months, I never felt ignored, alone, a number, or a paycheck.
Would I use this firm again? Of course. Would I recommend this firm to others? Of course!
An added bonus, this firm does charity work in and around Columbia. How nice is that?

While the other firm handled my problem very very well, I did end up back with Brad to finish up an even more important part of my problem that I didn't see coming.
