I bet you never thought "decent human being" and lawyer could reside in the same person, but JPI seems to have found them!
I temped for them as a legal assistant in early 1998. I wasn't a regular employee or a client (well, we'll get to that), yet I was always treated like I was one of the gang. I was included in their Friday night outings after work, and spoken to like an equal. Mr. Pass, for being a name partner, is so down-to-earth - I've worked in D.C. law firms with junior associates who treated me with less respect - and I had more seniority than them!
Despite working hard, I had a big drop in income from what I had been used to and needed, so JPI helped me file for bankruptcy and even represented me - and they didn't ask for a dime over the filing fees. All Mr. Pass wanted was to see me get to a better place in life. We stayed in touch as I left Pennsylvania to make that happen.
Nearly 25 years later, as I write this, I can still call and ask his advice and chat with him, if he's not busy. How many people do you meet in a lifetime who are genuinely good people, who are good at what they do? How many of those people are lawyers? I mean, I can tell stories about lawyers I've worked with and how mercenary they are even in their private lives. The profession seems to attract that type. The law firm of JPI turns the idea of the stereotypical lawyer on its head. They're good people out to do good. It's like they never lost the idealism that drove them to go to law school. This should be the ideal boutique law firm.

Pam Schriller really does go above and beyond. I am 20 years old & went into my case pretty much blind to anything. She was very thorough throughout this process. They were there for me every step of the way, guiding me when I didn’t know what to do and answering my questions pretty much anytime—day or night. They worked hard to get me the best results possible and even reduced some of their fees to help me. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

3 years ago my son and I were involved in a car accident. My son’s grandfather referred me to Lupetin & Unatin for representation for the accident. His referral came highly regarded due to him having a case where he was sued Duquesne Light for damages to his property and he won. So needless to say, I went with his recommendation.
Regarding my own case, the representation I received from Lupetin & Unatin was superb. I filed my lawsuit at the beginning of 2022 and they diligently gathered all the information needed to settle the case for me and my son. It took some time, but the end of 2024, they were able to get us a reasonable settlement and they only charged 25%. Garrett Trettel was representing us and he treated our case with the utmost importance and urgency, being very transparent of the necessary steps that had to be taken along the way in order for us to cross the finish line.
I can honestly say I am pleased and satisfied with the service I received from this law firm. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again in the future.

Highly recommended. I got there name from a google search when I suddenly needed a lawyer. They had great reviews and responded immediately when I needed time-sensitive counsel with a family matter. Thomas McKinley is an excellent lawyer, very clear in his communications, reassuring and compassionate. Lawyers are always expensive but I found their rates reasonable. He was able to communicate directly with the DA and save me a lot of footwork and time, and was able to get the matter resolved without me having to deal with the court directly and provided great reassurance throughout. Well worth the money and I will call him first if I ever have any other needs

I was hit from behind in an auto accident in October 2021, and although insurance paid the medical bills and gave us the "value" of the totaled car (which was far below the actual replacement costs), I was still far worse off afterwards. Wayne's group helped take care of additional loss of work and negotiated a reasonable settlement. Since we were just coming out of Covid restrictions, these things went slowly, perhaps in part because the other driver was out-of-state, but Wayne & his team remained dedicated to seeing it through, and we received a better settlement than I had expected.

Absolutely disgusted with how he dealt with me . Very rude called me in the middle of a shift and had an attitude because I couldn’t talk once I could talk. He basically started talking at me and not to me. Very passive aggressive. It’s absolutely unprofessional. I did not feel like my issue could be resolved from the first 30 seconds I spoke to him.

Hired Domenic after I was not able to get thorough paperwork or understanding on my own. With his guidance from the first phone call. I felt comfortable with my decision to hire him. He guided me along with help getting all records needed. I was able to get a speedy hearing due to my circumstances and granted we won the appeal. It's a shame that more people don't seek professional help for appealing or even if you want to do it yourself Domenic bellisario is able to explain the reasons and clearly gave me hope for my future after my injuries. I worked from age of 17 years till 49 only to be told I could still do certain work. My medical records were not available or released. Get advice. Call him, he will answer your questions and respect you. Thanks my family won't be homeless this winter.

Anyone looking to hire an Attorney that is knowleable in workers compensation, he definately has my vote. Att Kunkel was able to settle my case much faster than I ever anticipated, and for much more than anticipated. Kevin was a very caring and honest attorney. He kept me mostly aware of how my case was going and where I was standing with my situation. He was concerned with my health situations. Mr. Fisher recently completed my car insurance claim that was filed on my behalf due to an arm injury. I was completely naieve to the legal procedures involved. He thoroughly explained things to me in a simple and concise manner to which I was able to clearly understand the situation that I was dealing with. Most importantly, he was not just my lawyer, he was a part of my support system and became a friend along the way.

I contacted Mr. Fisher regarding an injury I sustained due to a improperly assembled bicycle. I had made several trips to the hospital, and had lots of bills and paperwork being sent to me. From the minute I made contact with Mr. Fisher, he explained in detail what services he could provide, what the end-goals were for my case, and walked me through every step of the process. He was always available to answer any questions I had, and I always felt comfortable reaching out to him. In the end, all of the goals for my case were met, and then some. Mr Conboy is most likely the best injury attorney this side of the Mississippi River. I was hurt on the job with serious injuries. I had an employer who didn't want to meet his responsibilities. Mark spoke with me and my fears went away. He worked extensively for me, and even though no amount of money will be enough for the injuries I suffered, Mr Conboy went above and beyond my expectations and I received a good chunk of change. Mr. Tim Conboy is an excellent attorney and certainly the person you want in your corner when the need arises. I was referred to Mr. Conboy by a neighbor who is also make attorney. My neighbor didn’t make this recommendation lightly, he took a week before he told me that Tim was the attorney he recommend. He told me that he inquired within his circle of attorney friends and that every one of his colleagues highly recommended Tim Conboy as their go to attorney. I cannot think of a higher complement than a recommendation from numerous other attorneys. My case was a difficult one and lasted a number of years, but Tim stayed with me through every part of my case which eventually resulted in a successful conclusion.

I hired this firm in September 2021. I used to receive a monthly follow up treatment phone call. Those calls ended in March 2023. I was encouraged by one of the attorneys to follow up with a neurosurgeon which I did in March. I emailed the firm that I did not feel comfortable having an aggressive surgery. Five weeks later I received a letter that they were releasing me as a client. I called to discuss this with Tom Hall and never received a return call. I have documentation of all received and initiated calls. Apparently my hesitation to have major surgery cut into their projected proceeds from my injury.
