I would like to thank the Injured Workers’ Law Firm for the work they did for me. Even though my worker’s comp case was settled in 2012 I was presented with a letter that offered me a settlement for the remaining years. Because I was also receiving additional benefits it was not just a yes or no decision. In contacting the firm and being accepted as a client by Michele Lewane I was assigned to Legal Assistant Emily Busch and Attorney Lorraine D’Angelo. They reviewed all my information and directed me to other contacts to help me make my finally decision. They did not make the choice for me but help me understand what the long-term effect would be on my finance going forward. Because I have worked with other lawyers I knew the most important thing was to make sure they heard me, and I understood how they were making decisions and they met these requirements 100%. I would refer this firm to my family and friends.

After an injury and being pressured and pushed around by the insurance company I was introduced to mr reid by a friend. Immediately my stress levels dropped. Brody took charge and did everything he said he was going to when he said he was going to.
No one wants to suffer with an injury and ill live with mine my entire life but I wouldn't have the comfort and medical carafe if it were not for Brody and his team. The level of communication was great and even with mutually busy schedules he always finds/ found time to text or call whenever I had a question. I don't feel like just another folder in the pile here, its much more personal and hands on.

I had an injury on the job and honestly didn't know where to turn. Between the pain and worrying about my bills, I needed someone on my side. I am beyond impressed with the representation I received in my court case. I had a reckless driving for speeding ticket and got the desired result. I was outside the norm but this is the first lawyer that I have interacted with that was genuinely interested in doing everything he could for my case and knew my case before the trial day. I was instructed in everything I would need to do to get my desired result. I did extra community service than he recommended (120 hours vs 80) as well before trial and this helped as well. Richard helped me navigate the court day and was reassuring but honest as well as agile in the presentation of mitigating evidence. I have said as well too many times in this review but that should speak volumes to the care I received that I was not expecting. I am picky with service and they were great! 10/10 would highly recommend this law office for reckless speeding tickets over 90!

I could not have asked for a better lawyer Richard Wiley was one of thw best lawyers that I ever came across. Actually this is my first time I needed an lawyer and I was very skeptical about this sensitive case that I had but I would not have changed it in the world. Richard was very prompt, he was on time, he stayed communicated with me with things that changed, he went over and above his duties as a lawyer to represent me in my case. At the end of the case I was granted everything I wanted. Richard was persistent he stayed consistent and he wanted to make sure that i received the best outcome for my situation. Assuming no lawyer would touch my old workers comp case, I struggled on my own for several months attempting to build my case. I wound up buried in paperwork and feeling like a spider entangled in its own web until, I was fortunate enough to be introcued to Casey. I was going out of town and had a court-hearing for a reckless ticket. Was only 14+ and he advised an online driving school I could go to out of state and represented me in court. Charge was dropped to a speeding for 9pmh over and just had $169 in court fines afterwards. Saved my license and my job!

Like many others, traveling through Virginia I received a ticket. Upon a couple of weeks, I received several letters from traffic attorneys. Mr. Parrish's letter stood out the most as it was professional, informative and straight to the point. I was charged with DUI. I contacted Riley & Wells and was assigned to a very intelligent and competent attorney, Joseph Dean II. Throughout the process I felt that I had an individual who cared about the process - defending his client along with abiding by the law. He researched cases that pertained to my case and worked through lab results that were suspect, all helping my NOT GUILTY decision. Mr Dean was straightforward and honest with me from the first time we spoke on the phone. He showed up to court prepared and provided a fierce defense. The judge continued my case for three weeks due to a lack of precedent (there weren't any cases similar to mine in case law). Three weeks later, Mr Dean returned to the court room on my behalf. His line of reasoning was impeccable and the judge rendered a not guilty verdict. Do not be fooled by Mr Dean's youthful appearance. He is a passionate attorney who is committed to providing a thorough defense.

I just spoke to the office regarding my past case which ended almost a year ago, I am upgrading my review and I appreciate the time the manager spent talking with me recently. I have to give Jordan five stars, she was assigned to my case near the end. Mr. McDonald upheld his part of his bargain, that I would not have to pay out of pocket. He did negotiate in good faith with me for the fiscal conclusion of my case. In all of this, I appreciate that.
No money in the world can compensate me for the continuing pain, mental anguish, time and costs that I incurred due to someone else's negligence, nor the way my insurance company of 30 years treated me.
I am most unhappy with my past Allstate insurance company um/uim carrier hiring a very seasoned lawyer to fight against me by representing the person who injured me. I did not understand the law regarding um insurance. I am no longer giving them my premiums that they collected for over thirty years.
The Virginia law in reference to contributory negligence is another major obstacle that affected my case, which should be changed. It only benefits the insurance industry. I am from Florida, so I was unaware of some of these rules.

After getting another respond of “I’ll leave them a message”, I stated I do not want to be represented anymore. (It has been a month of waiting.) Before I could finish I was hung up on. I called back to give them the rest of the information and was joined by rudeness. All of sudden, I get a call back from Maranda, finally. She immediately spoke rudely and with an attitude. Never could tell me the dates they called/left a message or confirmed the number; not even confirming the email provided. Never even emailed me! Instead Maranda kept asking for documents about case. Leaving me to reiterate that I do not want to be represented by them anymore. Instead of going back and forth and being rude, they should’ve been empathetic, professional, and polite. At end of call, I requested to have documents emailed to me regarding that I no longer want them representing me, as well as insurance communication denying me after months of saying I’m not at fault. (I hired firm after I was told their driver was at fault and was waiting for compensation.) This is bad business!

I was recently awarded my SSDI case with the help of GGL Law Firm. He, and his assistant, Anne are knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, determined, extremely responsive and organized. Calls were never screened and they pick-up or respond to you immediately. They made sure I understood the facts of my case. A relative applied for social security disability benefits and had the claim denied. I was asked to help and began to research the social security disability application process. The statistics of denial although staggering were pretty easy to find. It seems that about 67 percent are denied initially and the figure jumps to about 87 percent for reconsiderations. Apparently your chances of success for reconsideration are even lower if you don’t appeal after the initial denial which was the case for my relative. Although I am retired while employed I valued contractors that had memberships in professional organizations specific to their trade or profession. This is the approach I used to help the relative retain a lawyer well versed in social security disability law and contacted NOSSCR – the National Organization of Social Security Claimants Representatives and asked for the names of local members. Much to my surprise only two members worked in the Richmond metropolitan area. Gerald G. Lutkenhaus had far better reviews. From the beginning it was clear that Mr. Lutkenhaus was well versed in social security disability law, rules and procedures. I actually read an entire book on SSA disability before I joined the relative for the initial meeting with the GGL Law Firm. Everything I read was confirmed ten times over. GGL had both the knowledge and the essential experience needed for these types of cases. I must confess that my dislike for most lawyers is that they charge you for every minute you talk to them and they nickel and dime you for everything and anything they can which is definitely not the case with GGL. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Anne the paralegal at GGL. Anne too has an encyclopedic knowledge of social security disability law and procedures and is extremely responsive to emails and phone calls. So what’s the bottom line? Our relative had a hearing 9 months after the first meeting with GGL and was granted a favorable outcome. GGL beat the statistics!!!! I certainly would recommend GGL without hesitation.
