Christian Patno was my attorney in a wrongful death suit settled in Nov 2018. My dear brother, age 50, was fatally injured in a June 2012 workplace accident in Willoughby Ohio. My family and I were absolutely devastated! The case was appealed several times, all the way to the Ohio Supreme Court. At each step of the process and over a long period of time, Chris Patno did a phenomenal job and my families position was upheld. Throughout the entire process, Chris was an aggressive advocate for me, always available to answer questions and explain everything that was happening. The process was completely foreign to me, but Chris made me feel at ease and was always so kind and gracious answering any/all questions I threw his way.

Mr. Fisher took my case when three other lawyers turned it down. I was cut off on my motorcycle by a truck that drove away and although I had the license plate of the truck no other lawyer wanted to take the time to go and find the trucking company and the witness wouldnt cooperate. Once Mr. Fisher got involved within 3 weeks he got a good witness statement and had identified the trucking company. After that it only took a month for him to get all my bills paid and get me a settlement that was alot more than I was expecting.

Mr. Fisher took a case 2 other lawyers turned down and got my case settled without a trial. He kept me informed and everything he told me would happen did happen. It was a car accident with a really terrible insurance company.

Michael level set expectations expectations immediately, on a complicated single car accident that took the life of my 20 year old son.
He listened sympatheticky, and experly as I explained what I knew of the painful details.
He took these details, and dug deep to get answers and access liability.
When it appeared the liability was my son's, he graciously and honestly addressed that with me with the sensitivity of a friend.

I had no idea what a personal injury case was or how to proceed with contacting a lawyer about my hit and run accident last year. The team at Obral Silk & Pal were welcoming and most importantly, LISTENED to me and what I had to say. Attorney Jacob DeBaltzo really understood my case from start to finish, he made sure to follow up with me frequently and thoroughly answered any questions I had. He really went above and beyond to fight for me and I can’t thank him enough. The process was incredibly quick, even quicker than I thought, and Jacob also made sure to set expectations as for time frames, settlement numbers including the attorney fees. Most importantly, when I received the final settlement, I didn’t feel ripped off or like they took a huge amount of attorney fees. I ended up with the largest chunk of the entire settlement and I know for a fact not all law firms would work that way. As someone who knows little to nothing about how attorneys work, I’m more than grateful to have found an honest attorney who really cares. Any kinda of legal trouble can cause stress but I was never worried when it came to my case. Matt Flemming was one of the best lawyers I have worked with. I filed an EEOC complaint in Dec 2023 and after reaching out to attorney after attorney I began getting discouraged because they would either not take my case or ask me to provide all these details, timelines, and retell my story over and over which was extremely traumatizing. I began to lose hope and decided to represent myself. It was so heartbreaking to believe I was wronged and mistreated and to be told over and over again that I did not have a case or it was not worth it. After sharing my experience with a childhood friend of mine, she referred me to Hux Law Firm. She assured me that if she had experienced something similar there is no one else so would trust more with her case. Fast forward, it is now March and I have mediation scheduled in 3 weeks.
