Super grateful for my experience with Jeff Roberts & Associates. I worked directly with Casey Elrod following an unfortunate car accident I was in. I honestly can't say enough positive things about Caroline Taylor and Whitfield Bryson. I was injured in a motorcycle accident and lost my job due to my injuries. Caroline helped us through a tremendously difficult time and was always patient and understanding when we had questions. We had no idea how many different variables there were in an injury settlement and she took the reigns and handled business. She was always very professional, courteous, up front and honest with us. She truly cared about my family and helped us as much as she possibly could to come through this OK. Mr. Pence and his assistant, Paige Crumpler, have been incredible. Because of head injury I would forget what was said and they were both so kind to go over things for me, often. They kept me informed, never rushed me off the phone, or out of the office. Explained everything so well that I knew exactly what was going on, at all times. He, Mr. Mike Pence, never made promises that he didn’t keep. If I had to sum him up in just one word: Integrity. But other words that come to mind when describing him would be: Honest, Hard-working, Intelligent. I really cannot say enough good about him. First, I want to start off by saying that when a person speaks on attorneys not giving their all, not being honest, they are all out for the money, and that they really do not care about their clients.......that is absolutely the most ficticious statement I have ever heard in my life to the ultimate power when it comes to Attorney Jonathan Williams!
This man fought for me and believed within me the whole entire time that he went over and beyond when dealing with my case. He was a God send to my life during my hard times.
Mr. JJonathan Williams took on my case when everyone else turned their backs on me and told me they didnt want to chance because it was hard to prove, but this man here....he will fight for exactly what he knows is right and he will stand by you throughout until the very end!
Please believe that he will not only be your attorney; yes, because that is his career; but he will also be that ear when you need it. I retained the law firm of Davies, Humphreys, Horton & Reese, PLC in 2010 with Ed Reynolds Davies Jr. serving as the lead attorney. He was responsive, worked hard, and was always well prepared. Mr. Davies was available at all times via email or phone and was able to obtain an excellent settlement for me without having to file a lawsuit.

I recommend using this firm for anything that life may throw your way. I took my case to them and from day 1 that handled my case like it was fragile (with care). All i had to do was go to my appointments and confirm that i did go and they took care of EVERYTHING else for me. So if you are looking for someone who WILL GET IN THE RING AND WIN!!!! I had a workman comp claim that Bill assisted me with. I was having difficulty getting the needed surgery on my own. I spoke to Pamala and Bill and within a week I was approved for my surgery. I was involved in a pretty severe motor vehicle accident in January of 2024 where my vehicle had rolled multiple times. I was fortunate enough to leave the scene with little injury for how significant the accident was in which I am grateful for. After the accident I received medical attention and knew that it was going to be a battle dealing with everything from the medical bills, the loss of my vehicle and everything else that comes with a difficult experience like this. Rachel Upshaw of Miller Upshaw Family Law, PLLC is an outstanding attorney, whom I would strongly recommend without hesitation, to anyone who is searching for an incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, trustworthy, and hardworking professional to legally represent them. Rachel gracefully supported me during my divorce process, which began as uncontested, but shifted into a contested divorce, along the way.
Rachel was always responsive to my emails throughout my case, and I experienced her as patient and kind during each communication we had during my case. Additionally, I experienced Rachel’s legal guidance throughout my divorce as wise, responsive, and precise, while always keeping my best interest as her client front and center. Rachel had a balanced approach of being warm, while also being realistic and “telling it like it is,” regarding each detail of my case, which I deeply valued and appreciated, and helped me to wholeheartedly trust her as my counsel.
Rachel also proactively communicated to me regarding any anticipated absences that she had, during my case, and she always let me know whom else from her office would be responding to my questions and/or handling time-sensitive tasks on her behalf, while she was out of the office.

I grew to learn that this balanced approach from her fit my personality and my needs the best, in comparison to the approach of some other attorneys.
During the mediation portion of my case, Rachel was very dedicated to ensuring that my hopes and wishes were consistently reflected and advocated for, throughout the process. Additionally, I am grateful for Rachel’s support, surrounding my ex-spouse and I ultimately reaching an agreement that was satisfactory to me, and the most desirable outcome possible, considering some of the more difficult (beyond her/our control) pieces of my case.
Lastly, I want to give a positive “shout-out” to other members of the Miller Upshaw Family Law team who were involved with my case. Attorney Taylor Rippe assisted me with some portions of my case, particularly during times that Rachel was out of the office. My communications with Taylor were always pleasant and I experienced her as knowledgeable and committed to completing tasks related to my case, in a thoughtful and responsive manner. Two years ago, I had an accident where a person died, I didn't had insurance, and to add to that I didn't had a driver's license. I had been trying to contact the insurance company for a week with out a call back. They had the insurance company calling me to fix my vehicle the same day I met them! I was a passenger and a head-on collision I was airlifted to Vanderbilt State University trauma center she contacted me Miss guthridge she failed to go to the jailhouse right beside her office and file paperwork with the man that was arrested it took two and a half years to get any settlement I was almost killed I got out of a $25,000 liability insurance that he had I was supposed to get $16,000 she got the rest instead she held my money in escrow and told me that it never came and loaned me money from her husband's loan company at $2,000 interest on every 2000 she got all the money I got nothing supposed to be a $750,000 settlement the man has a lien on him she's I know has been collecting my money I haven't got another penny she told me never to contact her again and I know she's been ripping me off I did not contact her she contacted me she is worthless and she's been robbing me I know there's two or two stimulus checks where's my money I was made to select a rating there was no zero so I had to pick one star if there was a zero I would pick 0

I have had to contact this lawyer repeatedly to get action on my case. This was after she messed up my appeal and I had to refile my disability case. She does not return phone calls or emails. Their phone system only goes to voicemail and it is nearly impossible to get a real person on the phone. She was recommended to me by a trusted attorney who was not aware of her current actions. Now I am in a position trying to find another lawyer to take over my case. She might be a good lawyer for other things, but clearly social security disability is not her strong suite.

I hired this firm to represent me on an appeal concerning a ruling in juvenile court. I won the ruling but the attorney by the name of Emily Pfeiffer, who is no longer active at that firm did not follow up to see where I stood on child support payments, and when the final order was drafted the court was under the misconception that I owed $10,000 and back child support which was paid at the end of the year prior which put me back in a position to owe child support arrears that I’ve paid already. Also, I was very detailed at what I wanted because opposing party was going after me for $20,000 in attorney fees I also wanted appealed and council representing this firm did not follow up, but left me in a position to get garnished by opposing counsel and insisted on me paying my $800 balance with them , when the job was not finished. Rob turner also garnished my wages for the remaining balance and left me in debt, leaving me to do my own footwork and prove to the court that my arrears have been paid would cost me three years of wasted time. I reached out to the firm to have this taken care of on a walk-in visit and a lady by the name of Chelsea Stevenson literally lied to me for six months straight after I explained to her in detail what was going on and had me under the impression things were getting resolved when they weren’t. After I had proven my case to the court as of recent I sent the firm the updated order to show them. I wasn’t lying and have not heard from any of them, that is “Rob Turner“ and “Chelsea Stevenson“ who used a personal matter concerning my ex-wife as leverage from me not contacting her and said I was harassing her after she surrendered her personal number to me to keep in contact with her. Absolutely nothing got done, and this firm is horrible in representing anyone, but will take your money immediately. I paid the full balance for 3 court appearances on my appeal in the dollar amount of $4000. This firm should be shut down by the bar of Nashville literally . They’re a bunch of liars and do not have the people in their best interest. They care nothing of their reputation and left me in shambles. Rob Turner is a crook and from what I was told he had a life-threatening accident from falling off of balcony, it’s not to wonder if someone threw him off with how his firm conducts business.

Go find other representation. Do not let the urgency of your situation put yourself into a position where you end up further taken advantage of by this law firm. $11k down the drain, crappy advice, lack of engagement & communication, missed deadlines and they contributed to prolonged suffering. The attorney I was assigned was nowhere to be found unless it was to bill another retainer and receive that $$$.
Do NOT hire these people. They will manipulate you and string you along to get more money for themselves with zero results for your case. They did it to me and every other person here warning you.
