After having my car totaled and needing physical therapy for the injuries I sustained, the insurance company tried to pressure me to settle before I knew the full scope of treatment I would need over the next year. I am glad I went to PDX Law Group and worked with David Richardson, who helped me understand how to navigate this system without getting taken advantage of, prioritized my care and well being, and was clear and consistent with all communication. Not only that, but he advocated on my behalf when the insurance company tried to nickel and dime what they should pay for my treatment and called them out when they would back pedal on their word. Had I not worked with them, I likely would have wound up accepting an unfair settlement. Cannot recommend them enough!

While walking, I was hit by a vehicle. The collision broke my leg. I thought the case was simple. The other side was responsible for the harm they caused. What I didn’t realize is my recovery was going to have its ups and downs. I did not know the legal system on how the insurance carrier was going to view my injuries as opposed to the effects it had on my life. I was referred to David Eder and his firm. The law partners (Andrew, Ben, David and Joel) do all of the legal work. They set up meetings with my treatment providers and explained how we could put together my legal case. They are aggressive in negotiations and confident in their approach. David also took calls on nights and weekends.

My case was related to an issue with an shipping claim by a major company used by many Americans that was damaged in transit. Jeremiah was amazing, helping me with every part of my case. From my initial consultation I knew he was trustable, as he tried to assist me with resolving the matter on my own, saving time and money, which would have prevented him from gaining a client. Unfortunately the insurance company wouldn't budge, and I had to take legal action. From the moment I signed on with Jeremiah he took care of everything. Working with him and Phoebe was great, and they answered any question I had and took care of the difficult communications so I didn't have to. We had to go all the way through mediation and we prevailed! He helped get a much fairer award than the insurance company wanted to offer. I recently had the pleasure of working with Ross Law and Jerimah Ross as my attorney. I’ve known Joel since I got in my accident in April of 2022. The chiropractic office that I was going to pushed me to call him emphasizing that he would make sure I was taken care of - and they were completely right. The impact of my accident added so much stress to my already stressful life as a single, working mom who was in school at the time and is now a 1st grade teacher. I felt like I had been spread way too thin and was so grateful to have someone managing my case. He has always been communicative about next steps, responsive when I needed to get ahold of him, understanding when I myself wasn’t great at communicating, and he really fought for me. When the accident happened I didn’t know what to expect in terms of how much money I would be awarded. I did endure a lot of pain and suffering in life because of it, and I do have permanent damage in my spine, but I didn’t expect much to come from it. He got me more than I could have ever imagined. I was injured on a charity motorcycle ride. I was severely injured. I underwent multiple surgeries. I was close to death many times. I was on life support. I lived in the hospital and a rehab facility for awhile. I could barely move. I had multiple surgeries. After the first few surgeries I had multiple boxes of multiple reams of paper from the medical records of this event. I tried to handle my claim myself because the total limit amounts were far less then my damages. The insurance companies were trying to get over on me. It took weeks to summon enough energy to call and deal with the insurance people and the claim process. After getting the run around from the insurance companies I had thoroughly researched the top lawyers in Oregon. I contacted most of these super lawyers and lawyers with prestigious accolades who are considered the best. For the most part they treated my situation as just another case. I came across Travis Mayor who is also a Super Lawyer with many prestigious accolades as well. I called the office of Travis Mayor and spoke with his kind receptionist. She informed me that Travis was on vacation. A few minute later I received a call from Travis in Hawaii! He cares that much about his clients that he called me from Hawaii while he was with his family. I told him my situation and out of kindness and compassion he said this total limit amount of money would in no way be fair to you. So Travis offered me an EXTREMELY low flat fee out of the kindness of his own heart. He truly cared about me and my situation. After all the pain it was a blessing to come across a man who truly cared. Once Travis took over I was able to focus on recovering. Travis was extremely easy to contact and in most cases got back to me before I could get back to him. He kept me updated and presented everything to me in a direct and clear manner. He outlined the choices I could make and he let me have full control over the decisions of the case while guiding me throughout the process effortlessly. Travis got the limit amounts from both insurance companies. He negotiated my bills down extremely low. And he also searched every possible outlet for further money. Travis went above and beyond and he did it all like a champion with no sweat. Travis is the best lawyer I could have gotten not just in Oregon but anywhere in the globe. I consulted Jason over the period of two days while I was in the process of settling my personal injury claim for a car accident. Even from my brief dealing with him, it is clear to me he is a knowledgeable and compassionate attorney who takes excellent care of his clients. My husband and I hired Jason after my husband was in a bad car accident. Jason was fantastic through the long process of getting my husband the proper compensation for his current and future losses, he was educated and seemed to genuinely have my husbands and my best interest at heart. I retained Matt for a slip & fall injury because the insurance company was not working with me. After Matt took my claim over I did not have to do anything. Matt did all the calling, negotiating, and because of his due diligence I received a larger settlement than I thought I was gonna receive. He was always there to answer my questions no matter how many times I called or email him. He was quick to send me an answer and if he didn't have one he found the answer ASAP. I retained Matt Rizzo twice for two auto accident claims. Matt's communication and service to his clients are second-to-none. He always kept me informed about my case. Our adult granddaughter was hit by a car while on her bike. She incurred horrendous injuries with corresponding medical bills, for which there was little insurance. Our daughter was hit by a car and killed while in a crosswalk. We were fortunate to find Josh to take our case. I could not imagine a more effective attorney. I retained Mr. Kline's office after being hit by a care while riding my motorcycle. While trying to heal from my injuries, my wife and I were worried how I would get my medical bills handled and since the driver had little insurance how we were going to handle this traumatic situation. Mr. Huegli is the finest attorney I have ever known. He has an uncanny ability to research and locate all evidence and put forth the finest preparation for trial. I had been in a bicycle accident and chose to handle the claim without hiring a lawyer. Everything went smoothly until I was settling the claim some time later. I received a letter with language and twisting legal terminology I didn't quite understand and wasn't confident signing. I was visiting the United States and was injured by a car while cycling. Charley and his staff were wonderful at helping me to navigate the complicated American health care and payments system, as well as arranging for every provider to get their appropriate amount.
Charley also provided extra services, like picking up my broken bike and driving it to a shop for evaluation when I was too injured to do so myself.

I was rear-ended and as a result have permanent pain in my back. I was offered $3,000 by the at fault insurance company. I then knew that I had to hire a lawyer, but was uncertain of how to figure out who was going to be honest and look out for my best interest. I was VERY near the end of my statue of limitations with my auto accident and I got bounced around by several different firms. I had telephoned several attorneys regarding my situation. None of them viewed my case as I did; there was something wrong with the timing of a work-related injury claim
and my employment being terminated.
Then, someone referred me to Christopher Slater.
I was instantly impressed with his honesty, knowledge of the law, and how well informed he was of the particular requirements for the industry in which I was employed.
He expressed confidence, patience, and the value of timing with regards to filing my complaint with the proper court.
Christopher's genuine concern regarding my current medical condition was a relief and he advised me to "take care of it first".
Christopher spent a great deal of time on the phone during the initial conference and everytime afterwards.
He was easy to talk with and always straightforward; often using metaphors to get his point across.
And always he made certain I had no questions at the end of all conversations.
I appreciated his mindfulness of my time and distance from his office.
Office meetings were kept to a bare minimum.
The discussions regarding plan of procedures, his work on a contingency basis, and the difference between costs and fees were done via phone or email.
He made sure I understood my responsibilities before, during, and after the process of filing a suit.
The defendent eventually offered a settlement following a decision made by the State of Oregon courts during discovery.
I met with Christopher and the adjudicator to negotiate.
It was apparent he is a plaintiff's lawyer, as he often referred to himself.
I am certain his ethics, values, and professionalism appear very well in a courtroom.

I was injured in a car accident, and I hired a lawyer without any research or knowledge of what to even look for. The experience was terrible, to say the least. I got false information, lost money I didn’t have and wasted a lot of time with a lot of added stress because I couldn’t get any answers or help.
