California is a difficult state to be a medical malpractice plaintiff. You're going to need the best and in my opinion, you could do no better than David Smith. Ours was a complex case, one which other attorneys had rejected due to all the difficulties of prosecuting medical malpractice in California. Once Mr. Smith agreed to take our case, he was like a bulldog! We encountered some serious obstacles and were up against a heartless insurance company law firm that tried to play some ruthless games and (in my opinion) shady legal maneuvers. But Mr. Smith was ahead of them at every step, even as they seemed intent on taking the case to trial. Ultimately, they came to realize that we had a tenacious pro on our side, and they settled.
What I can tell you is that I'm not a big fan of attorneys in general, but we really felt like we had a powerful and effective ally in Mr. Smith. It turns out he's a helluva nice guy too!

Mr. Meisner was thorough and insightful and did a great job advancing and settling the cases for my daughter and myself after a violent car accident.
He also provided preliminary paperwork and advice immediately that would prove helpful in assuring a smooth settlement.
He was proactive in keeping the case in motion, great in communication, and followed up after settlement to assure a proper close out. In short, he did an excellent job overall.
Without hesitation, I will certainly reach out next time I need a PI attorney.

The Smith and Zitano team were a Godsend. We had a tragic medical issue occur to our family. My son informed me of his dilemma regarding a ticket he received for excessive speeding while driving in a construction zone. I knew it was extremely serious and he needed legal representation. I looked up the Internet for a local attorney close to where he is attending a trade school. Originally, Kristina was contacted via e-mail, for an appointment and meeting location. She was very accessible for the date and location.
The seriousness of my son’s case would result in his license suspension, no traffic school, DMV points, and extreme fines. During the two court appearances, Kristina met with the DA’s Office to negotiate reduction of speed, no points, traffic school, lesser fines, and no license suspension.
Kristina’s interaction during the entire process was that of deep caring and a positive outlook when we were less than hopefully.
We recommend Kristina wholeheartedly without reservation. She is an honest, hard-working, trustworthy, and caring attorney.

I cannot express the immense gratitude I have for my interaction with Mr. Smith. I found myself in a very challenging and unique situation with a renter's insurance claim. I vetted many attorneys before allowing my intuition to guide me to Mr. Smith. Mr. Smith demonstrated his attention to detail in the consultation process. He carefully read over the documents and gave me an informed assessment of my case. Although, Mr. Smith could not guarantee my desired outcome (as no attorney can), I decided to move forward with the process and hired him. Written on 11/2015 I was so pleased with Mr Edlow's performance, he accepted a very difficult slip and fall (Public Entity) case. My case was pursued aggressively and was quick to realize that he was not only defending me as a client, but also defending my wife and 3 children that were affected as a direct result of my injuries. Every avenue of my case was carefully examined from a loss of consortium claim for my wife, to a negotiated discounted amount to be paid back to my medical insurance for past medical bills. To anyone injured, I was in the beginning of what appeared to me to be a simple accident. It ultimately turned into a complicated, multi-plaintiff, multi-defendant with as many as six law firms involved. It had as many twists and turns as a good suspense movie. I shudder to think what the outcome might have been if I had chosen another firm. As I healed from my injuries, Lance made sure I had excellent care and did not come out of pocket for the spine and nerve damage and physical therapy or any of the other consultants and specialists my case required. Lance navigated the complexities of the case masterfully with the skill that only comes from years of successful experience. As my case was winding up, a twist by one of the other firms, which I believe would have completely derailed most of the other firms, reared its head threatening to not only extend the case at least another year but possibly leaving me with nothing in the end. As I was starting to panic, Lance calmed me down and assured me things were well in hand. Within weeks he turned this body blow into a huge settlement that I don’t believe any other firm would have been able to pull off. Lance's strategy, his relationships, and his savvy at the negotiation table and with the court mediator were sheer masterful. His staff kept me up to date every step of the way and were available to me for questions, concerns, update and anything I needed. *Disappointing Experience with Roy Yang Law Office- Lack of Communication and Unprofessional Service*
I'm extremely dissatisfied with Roy Yang's Law Office handling of my workers' compensation case. Despite hiring them 7 months ago, I've experienced chronic communication issues and unprofessional service.
Key concerns:
- *Ignored emails*: Multiple messages regarding my case have gone unanswered.
- *Lack of preparation*: No one briefed me on what to expect for my recent QME (Qualified Medical Evaluation).
