I was in a really tough spot when Steve arrived in my life, not only was I in legal trouble but I was also having problems at home with the family. I'm writing this review at the end of a 3-year auto accident case. Stephen Weier and his team did an incredible job representing me after my injury. I followed up by phone with and sent emails asking for resolution. We'd tried for two months and felt ignored with excuses for all the delay. We turned to Ladenburg Law for help and in a week, Erik was able to get the first $2800 for the car repairs to my son. They subsequently got the $1300 lost wages as well. I felt like I was actually seen as a person, that my concern mattered. He prepared the case so well we netted over 96% of the insurance policies limits during our mediation. Even more importantly he referred me to a neck and back specialist who greatly reduced my pain at least temporarily. When he told me my insurance company only offered us 4% of the available funds and he recommended filing suit for the full limit I was quite surprised. But over the years the medical bills grew and will continue to accumulate, with this settlement I should be able to get the necessary treatment for years to come. I couldn't recommend him any higher.

Talbot refused to take my case when Ben was under him. Ben saw my case and called me 3 days later and he took my case and won. I was a scared 21 year old and he made me feel okay with the whole process. He told me from day 1 that the insurance had 3 years before court and it would take them almost 3 years to agree to settle. Mr. Balerud was very helpful to me in an extremely difficult situation. I had been arrested for DUI, and since I had only ever gotten one speeding almost 20 years ago, I didn't know what to do! He met with me for a free one hour consultation, and discussed everything (to the last detail) that happened that day. He really listened to me, even taking notes, then went over all my options from best case scenario to worst. He was quick to meet me for my first court appearance, so I really felt like I wasn't alone, I had someone on my side. It can be a scary experience if you haven't been there before! Tom walked me through what to expect at each court appearance, advised me what I needed to do legally to fulfill court requirements, and helped me locate the assessment centers, and where to take my required classes. I hired Mr. Cochran years ago, when he was with another law firm, and he did an outstanding job, winning us both a substantial amount of money. Fast forward 18 years, and I'm once again in need of a good attorney, for a job related injury. So, i look up Mr. Cochran, and reach out to his law firm. After several emails with his assistant, a phone consultation is arranged. During the conversation he says that he's not sure if he can represent me, and is also unsure if I can sue my employer, or if I'll have to sue workers comp. He tells me that he will look into it, and if he's unable to represent me, he'll talk to some buddies in Idaho (where I'm at), and recommend someone to me. After 3+ months of writing emails back and forth with his assistant, and never getting any answers, I've decided to move on, and find another attorney. I have no doubt, that Mr. Cochran is a brilliant attorney, i just wonder about his character
