Niko, Shayla, and the entire team at Marneris Law were terrific with our condo purchase. We never met any of them in person, yet we felt a personal connection. Choosing a lawyer with or without a referral is risky, and reviews can be misleading.
When I Ianded in Steve Glickman's office over a decade ago, cold and without a recommendation, I took the kind of chance that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I got lucky....because of Steve's character. YES, he has deep knowledge, years of experience, and is attentive. Aside from that, Steve has repeatedly proven that he can be trusted. He has unwavering ethics and integrity. At vulnerable points in time, we often can't see through the fog. In retrospect, the empathy and emotional intelligence he applied, that I didn't even realize at the time, is striking. Things could've been a disaster absent his guidance.
Over years, Steve has skillfully handled the simple to complex for me. It's his exceptional qualities that elevate him above the pack. I highly recommend him.

I met with Steve a couple of years ago and I have been working with him since then on various employment issues. When I met with him, I had few employees who left the companies that I own, and they were conspiring and determined to sabotage my businesses. Mr. Glickman understood the complexity of the situation very well, and was able to break them away very easily and dissolved their bad intensions.
He is very knowledgeable about various employment laws, and on top of it, he is very sincere and honest man. He provides his experience handy at different scenarios and situations. He also works very well along my other business lawyer.
I highly recommend him to any business of any size. His strategy is proven to work. I even consult with him on any legal matter even if it is outside of what he does, because of the amount of trust I build around him and his knowledge of the law in general.

Steve was incredibly thoughtful, patient and knowledgeable when helping me navigate a separation agreement with a previous employer. I had involved him probably too late in the process, but he was able to help me remedy a few of my missteps and figure out best course of action, support my interactions when negotiating new agreement and final outcome was very much to my satisfaction. I had John as my lawyer in a hotly contested divorce proceeding which featured the withdrawal of the other side's lawyers during the case and the hiring of new ones midstream. John Malevitis guided the case through to a quite favorable settlement and conclusion for me. I have since hired him for various other business related matters. P.S. I asked John about the negative rating on Avvo received by a former client and I was advised of the client name, so I looked it up on the Court docket and found that in fact John had attended Court on her behalf about 30 plus times and that finally he had to withdraw when she was not cooperating with him and failed to attend Court as required. I don't understand how someone could publish these inaccuracies without first taking the time to look up the Court docket as I did!

Words do not to justice as to how great it was working with Adam Gurney and Jasmine Cortez. They were both extremely polite, patient, helpful, and professional. They were able to help us with our house closing from start to finish. They did the heavy lifting so that we could focus on other things. I reached out to this law office about a year ago. The main attorney, Lee Jacobson, was rude and unwilling to give my situation a detailed look. I was being talked over with opinions on why my case was monetarily "not worth it," all because this guy refused to give it a genuine review. Anderson, Boback, & Marshall were great. Jessica Sindel and Jessica Marshall had the patience of saints when dealing with me through such a tough process. It felt like we shared a common goal and reached the expectation that I had in spite of the other side making some very wild claims... I was able to overcome all of that with their help and at no point did I feel like they were billing me unnecessarily nor refusing to take steps to make meaningful progress like other firms I had to deal with.

I just spoke with a women receptionist who said she does intake.
She kept cutting me off from the beginning and saying things twice in a row.
She then said I need to contsct a lawyer in my home state to handle the case.
I asked her is her firm csn practice and file suits on other states and she said thst thet can and to tell her more about the case....
At that point I hung up because she didnt seem stable nor competent at all.

We contacted Washington Law Offices to handle an issue of inhabitability due to a pest infestation issue. Jamie was amazing. During the time I worked with her she explained each step in the case and made sure I understood everything. I cannot express my gratitude enough for FOX & FOX, S.C. and especially Mr. Randall Gold. I came to the firm at a time when I thought all was hopeless and I that I was going to have to leave my graduate position after spending five dedicated years in graduate school without my PhD - which was devastating.
I had reached out to other firms, but none were willing to take my case because, even though I was an employee at the university I attended, I was also a student - each firm denied me, stating they were not well versed enough to handle my case. Mr. Gold, did not see me as just a student but as a person who desperately needed assistance. He not only was willing to take my case, but was passionate and sympathetic. Mr. Gold always made time for my questions, was prompt with feedback, and was kind and patient. He was also honest with me, and made sure to convey realistic expectations to me - which was greatly appreciated. I hired Randall to help me through a sudden job termination that involved retaliation after filing a complaint against my manager who exhibited a pattern of damaging childish behavior of disparaging Asians and Jews, among many other terrible things.
This being my first ever experience of this nature, I did a lot of online research before choosing Randall of Fox and Fox. I wanted a lawyer that would represent me in a reasonable and fair way. As much as I was disappointed in the way my job ended and the company continues to harbor a known racist/anti Semite, I was not out to do damage. The severance I was initially offered was decent, but I knew the context of my termination was not. Because of that, I sought representation.
After meeting with Randall in person, I was confident he was the lawyer to help me through this. He was straight forward and told me what to expect, what was reasonable, and what was fantasy.
Randall was quick to respond to emails and kept me up to date every step of the way. He listened to and respected my opinions. On occasion, he would talk me off the ledge and remind me things will be resolved quickly and to my advantage. I never felt belittled or that he was ignoring my emails/phone calls. He treated me and worked with me with respect.
Randall got me a great settlement in a short amount of time to avoid proceeding to court. I wanted this whole thing resolved quickly so I could move forward!

If I could give attorney Zhao a below one, it would most definitely be a 0. She has poor manners and didn't think my spouse case was work, who responds to a client stating "I have been very busy with work" like my spouse case wasn't work. Then gets upset and removed herself from the case after filling into the case because you don't like corrective criticism, how unethical. When she calls her clients she is very disgruntled and pushy, can't be so sure if its a personality conflict or a color/race conflict, but whatever it is. I would not recommend her for any case learn how to treat your clients. You won't make it very far being rude, people are no longer standing for bad behaviors.

Lisa Stauff was my attorney for many years so I know her well. She was consistently very difficult to communicate with, sometimes taking a few months to get back to me about my case.
But the worst is that after paying her thousands of dollars over the years, she failed to reply to the court on a motion to dismiss my case. The Judge gave Lisa multiple chances to file a reply but she failed to do so. The Judge had no choice but to dismiss my case.
On top of that, Lisa has not even communicated the dismissal of my case to me. I had to write the Judge to find out the status of my case and its been two years.

I have to admit, after nearly 5 years of working with them and still not having my debt paid off, it feels like this process wasn't worth it. I have one remaining debt of $12K, and nearly $9K in my account that needs to be paid off. Yet, every month, it feels like the balance never gets closer to being resolved. At this point, I don’t understand why they can't call the creditor and negotiate directly. It finally dawned on me that the reason might be the high fees they charge.
Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend them again, and I am determined to stay out of debt just to avoid working with them in the future. On top of that, my account password never works, and I never receive the reset email. For a company taking in so much money, having a properly functioning website should be a basic expectation—it's almost laughable.
