Mr. Cashman provided me with extensive free legal consultation in dealing with a particular "copyright troll". All I can say is please do your due diligence when dealing with these people, particularly hiring "settlement factory" attorneys. Also, please read all of Mr. Cashman's articles on his website concerning copyright trolls. It's a treasure trove of great information. Even though I didn't end up retaining Mr. Cashman for his services due to me being in another State, I would definitely recommend him if you're in Texas.

I'm an attorney myself, so when it came to choosing an attorney to assist me with applying for disability retirement through the Federal Employees' Retirement System, I tried to do my homework and thoroughly research attorneys and law firms. I spoke with several, and ultimately felt the most comfortable and confident with Mr. Wersing and his team, including Bethany Sissons, a paralegal. They did not disappoint! From thoroughly explaining the process to me, to giving me clear directives on what I needed to do to help prepare my claim paperwork (it's the government - there's tons of paperwork to gather and complete), to answering my questions, to keeping me informed about where things stood in the process, Mr. Wersing and his team did a great job, and my application was approved on the first try. I credit that in large part to the aforementioned paralegal, Bethany Sissons, staying on top of the development of my paperwork and making sure I had a complete and correct application. For anyone considering hiring someone to help you with the FERS disability process, the reality is that nobody can do the whole thing for you. There is a lot of back and forth with your agency and a lot of documentation that you, as the employee, have to help gather (even if you're just filling out medical record release forms to send records to the firm, rather than getting your own medical records and forwarding them yourself (which is faster)). But Mr. Wersing and Ms. Sissons broke down the tasks I needed to complete to help them help me into a clear, actionable plan, which, again made the process smooth and, most importantly, successful. Finally, I found the cost structure extremely fair and reasonable, given the value received.

I had run through at least 20 different firms when trying to find representation for my federal case involving the FDA...and it was so disheartening I had to do this after 21 years of service to that agency at the time...to say it was exhausting and discouraging was an understatement. I found Aaron and his firm after three weeks of searching the internet and calling different firms, who charged ridiculous and outrageous amounts of money for representation...I had reached my wit's end before I found Aaron and his firm. I spoke to him and his staff and started the ball rolling for my case. They worked with me regarding fees and payment, went over the relevant issues, and looked at all scenarios to negotiate a settlement and help me to move from my area to get out from under that mgnt line...the mngt was pacified when they saw I hired this firm and for while they left me alone... I was shocked and surprised that they had attorneys who represented federal employees in their cases...Aaron kept it real and Andrew Young who was representing me at the time, also did. They provided expertise and possible outcomes and worked with me and tried their best to mediate and finally go to EEOC court regarding my issues...it was a long process and I had to keep my documentation in order and fight for myself as well as they, but I COULD NOT HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP...IT FELT LIKE I WAS FIGHTING FOR MY LIFE AND MY CAREER DEALING WITH THIS FEDERAL AGENCY AND ITS CORRUPT MANAGEMENT LINE...AND I COULD NOT HAVE DONE IT WITHOUT AARON AND ANDREW'S HELP...I am happier now as I have moved from the previous mngt line and their branch and Aaron and Andrew had negotiated a settlement agreement with the FDA for my restitution...but again I COULD NEVER HAVE DONE THIS WITHOUT THEIR HELP...fighting the govt is exhausting, disheartening, full of pitfalls and dishonest mgnt people and can make you question your life's purpose, but I am grateful to have found this firm and its attorneys...this is a true account and someday I will write a book about my struggles and those who helped me.

I am so so glad that I hired John as a consultant in a severance negotiation with my employer after my job was terminated. After consulting John, I received everything I asked for from my employer including multiple things I would not have thought to ask for without John's guidance. I don't have a ton of money so I was not sure if I should pay a lawyer for consultation. Now I can only think of the amount of stress and time and money it likely would have cost me if I did not hire John as a consultant. John and his team were professional, prompt, and efficient and knowledgeable. When I was stressed out about a timing deadline, John's team and John himself promptly provided effective answers to my question even though it was not a work day for them. I contacted Logan Howard regarding a labor dispute with the Texas Workforce Commission as it related to unemployment benefits. He contacted me the same day and was very thorough and clear explaining next steps and legal matters. I prepaid for his services and he was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, and empathetic through this case which lasted several months. Michelle not only helped me resolve an issue with my previous employer but also provided emotional support throughout the process as this was the first time in my life I was in need of legal representation. I talked with several employment attorneys before hiring Michelle to assist with my severance dispute. I ended up going with her because of a very good referral from a close friend who used her for a non-compete matter he had as an EVP. Michelle was well-versed in all aspects of executive severance and got me everything I wanted. It took awhile, but that was not her fault--there were several delays on my employer's part. Despite this, Michelle kept them on track and kept me updated. Her fees were reasonable, which I really appreciated. Could not be happier.

After working for my employer almost 30 years, I found myself in a very difficult situation where I was being pushed out of my position as a senior executive due solely to my age. Michelle helped me negotiate a very fair buy-out that enabled me to move forward with my career and did so in a very professional manner. Even the other attorney thanked her for her professionalism. I have no doubt that without Michelle I would still be working there, suffering and demoted, or that I would have been fired with cause and left with nothing. We had an ongoing warranty issue with a large purchase that was not being resolved by the manufacture. We were referred to Patrick buy another attorney and he did not disappoint.
