While I didn't actually hire them as attorneys, I definitely would if I needed one. They had a booth at a festival n had a drawing for a gift card. They contacted me the same day to let me know I won n since I had already left, they mailed it to me. I received it quickly so I came to say, they are honest ppl n would definitely do business with them should the need arise. Thank you for being honest n getting my gift card delivered in a timely manner!!

This is a long overdue review, but I wanted to share my experience as Michael Brehne and his team saw me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. I left my physically and mentally abusive marriage two days after Thanksgiving in 2020, but it was another 6 months before I got the courage to demand a divorce from my then husband. It was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make, especially when fearing for my safety and my future, but it was also the best decision I ever made, and I cannot express how thankful I am for the care and concern I received from day one with this law office. When I first contacted the Law Offices of Michael Brehne to begin my divorce, I didn’t know I was embarking on a nearly 2 year fight for what my children and I deserved, but Michael and his team immediately eased my fears and helped me every step of the way. He was both honest and realistic about what I might encounter after my long marriage to an abusive and narcissistic man, yet confident that I’d ultimately get what was needed to secure my future and, more importantly, a parenting plan that would protect myself and my children from further abuse and manipulation. Juanita and several others in the office soon took over the day to day details of my divorce, and together with Michael, they handled a very unprofessional opposing attorney with the utmost grace. Although we nearly had to go to a trial due to a lack of cooperation from the other side, ultimately we settled, and I was awarded what I had fairly requested. Although my divorce took longer than expected (both due to the pandemic and delays from opposing counsel), Michael worked to ensure my compensation for the other side’s delays, and I always received prompt, honest, realistic and compassionate responses to my questions and concerns. Aside from the fair division of assets, allocating parental rights and responsibilities, along with a parenting schedule that was fair was my biggest concern. It was also one of the most challenging because this was where my ex tried to hurt me the most. It was emotionally exhausting, but Michael worked with me one on one to create a practical parenting plan that was very specific and detailed in its terms. Michael’s sensible thinking and strategic negotiation during mediation and hearings were phenomenal. His ability to stay calm and collected during these events helped me to also keep my emotions in check so we could stay on track and continue to navigate the opposing counsel’s ridiculous claims and demands with success. Michael and his team were always committed to advocating for parenting arrangements that served the best interests of my daughters. I’ve been happily divorced now for almost a year and a half and consider Michael Brehne a true ally, and now, friend. I absolutely recommend this attorney and his kind, professional staff to anyone who needs representation in a family law matter. I was blessed to have him during my time of need, and you will be, too.

Attorney JR deserves more than five stars. My vehicle was stolen over Thanksgiving weekend. Sadly, the vehicle was not recovered, and I had difficulty dealing with my insurance company. I was so stressed and disappointed with the situation. The insurance company was not handling the claim properly or professionally. My friend called this law office on my behalf, as I emotionally could not take any further disappointments. JR was fantastic; he provided informative and expert advice on how I should handle this situation. Without hesitation, he offered to contact my claims adjuster. His efforts were successful, and the adjuster finally kicked into gear, and the insurance took action. I am so grateful for his exert advice. Without his help, I would’ve been lost. Thank you, JR. The insurance covered my rental car, paid a fair loss, and my gap insurance remediated the rest. JR, indeed, was the light in this terrible situation! JR Alvarez at the Michael Brehne Law firm saved me from making a big mistake! My insurance agent offered me an option to “Stack“ my uninsured motorist (UM) coverage on only ONE of my two vehicles, and to decline UM coverage on the other. He said stacking on one vehicle would cover both vehicles, and it would save me the additional cost of purchasing separate UM coverage for my second vehicle. Though it was tempting to take my insurance agent’s advice because it would save me a lot of money, I was concerned about having to sign a form “Rejecting all forms of uninsured motor vehicle coverage” on the second vehicle and trusting that if there were an accident, the stacked policy would carry over and protect the second vehicle and the passengers. I did some research to determine if I was getting accurate information from my insurance agent. After researching and getting conflicting information from other insurance agents, I ended up calling JR Alvarez at Law Offices of Michael B. Brehne. JR was so helpful! He researched the matter and determined that if I declined UM coverage on my second vehicle, the stacking coverage on the first vehicle would NOT carry over to the second vehicle, and the second vehicle and the passengers would NOT be protected if harmed by an uninsured motorist. I really appreciated the time JR took to research this matter and get right back to me, especially right before a holiday. I would definitely recommend contacting JR Alvarez if you need help.
