Hands down, the best lawyer you are going to find! Count yourself lucky if he agrees to take your case. My husband and I retained Matt on a criminal case years back which resulted in the case being dropped. It was amazing to observe how well respected he was throughout the courts and the community. Google only allows 5 stars, but he is most definitely a 10 star! On a more recent case, we initially hired a lawyer that was a friend of a family member (Tim McClain) and after months of Tim on the case, at the last minute (very unexpectedly) told us that he did his best to work with the DA, and that the best and final offer was 3 years in prison mandatory!!! Long story short, we immediately met with Matt. He reviewed the case and was able to immediately identify several things that had not been explored to help the case. We immediately parted ways with Tim and retained Matt. I am still upset with myself for not going to Matt from day one on the new case. Matt put in a lot of work and as a result he got the offer reduced from mandatory prison time of 3 years to probation/community control (zero jail/prison time)!!! This is a perfect example to show how important it is to have the right lawyer. This is the same exact case, same charges, same judge, same District Attorney... but 2 very different outcomes for the defendant solely based on the quality of legal counsel. Weeks ago, on this same case the other lawyer was telling my husband he needed to spend as much time with his small children as possible for the next couple of days because there was no getting around the mandatory 3 years prison time. Now, weeks later, with Matt as the lawyer, we walk out of the court room with ZERO prison time! If you want to make sure that you are getting the best possible outcome for your situation, then Matt is your guy! He is straight forward, does not make promises he cant keep, he is fair and to the point. If Matt is on your case you can rest easy knowing that you WILL end up with the best possible outcome. I will forever be a fan! :)

I came to Matthew after an enhanced DUI charge with 2 counts. From the first visit he put me at ease on what was a very stressful situation for me. We went through a long process with countering the administrative suspension on my license, and court investigation. Every step of the way he gave me the tools to make an informed decision on where to take my case in my best interest. In the end, he was able to get me into a first time offender program in Seminole County that does not normally accept cases like mine.
