Amy is a calm, pragmatic attorney and I believe she understands the law. And she may be perfect for a very low-conflict divorce... But in a highly-contested one such as mine, her assumptions about being able to "remain calm" and "do the right thing" only lead to poor decisions that ended up costing me tens of thousands of dollars (not including an absurd amount in attorneys fees) and only prolonged my divorce, which ended up taking more than two years to finalize. I ended up having to part ways with Amy and hire a real litigator. Bottom line, go with a litigator from the start. No matter the situation, it's always better to have an attorney with some teeth on your side. Divorces can go sideways really fast, no matter the intentions.

I reccomend the Law Office of Attorney Bark for three very simple reasons that anyone should take into consideration when you hire someone that represents you in front of the law. First, knowledge of the laws, Mr. Bark and his team are always up to speed if not even more showing a wide range of knowledge in criminal laws. Second, they work with you, meaning I never felt left outside the process, for example waiting for someone to return a phone call or an email; they get back to you right away with an answer. Third, honesty something that I personally consider hard to find those days.

I am very pleased with the outcome of my case. I was charged with driving while license was revoked which at the time I was also on probation for a prior DUI. When I contacted Mr. Barq he was very professional, his staff Sue as well. He even went out of his way to meet me after business hours to take the case. At first the prosecutor was offering 15 days in jail but after Mr. Barq handled my case he got the prosecutor to reduce the charge to driving without a valid license, No days in jail, just court cost. He also took the time to assist in setting up a payment plan to pay the court cost with the courts. He's an outstanding attorney and very professional.
