Mr. Johnnie McLeod represented the Bithlo community in 1977 and was successful in defending the community from ruinous debt when bonds were defaulted on. Later he was successful in defending the elected community chairman from having an injunction by Orange County government placed upon him to muzzle his free speech in the media, for exposing waste, fraud , abuse and mismanagement in local government. Words cannot express the gratitude of the less fortunate in Bithlo. McLeod law firm has earned the respect and admiration of all who are aware of this.
