I rarely write reviews for anyone, but I want the world to know about the GREAT! Personal experience I had with the Elder Needs Law Firm in Fort Lauderdale Florida and one of its attorneys Mr. Jason Neufeld. Elder Needs Law Firm and attorney Jason Neufeld are the epitome of honesty, compassion and understanding and in this day in age those are qualities HARD to find in any organization or let alone an individual. One of the hardest things a child might have to do in their lifetime, is making the decision of to properly take care of loving elderly parents. There are so many obstacle’s and legal red tape to navigate through, that it just becomes overwhelming, let alone whilst making sure that all is done appropriately and within the confines of the law, so that the parent does not lose any benefits or life savings. Elder Needs Law and attorney Jason Neufeld held my hand every step of the way in that process. They kept me constantly informed, provided me options and best of all gave me sound advice on how to ensure that my parent was going to be taken care of appropriately for the rest of their life on this earth. Our 95 year old mother, who lived on her own and still drove her car, had a minor fall. She spent some time in the hospital and was then transferred to a rehabilitation center. Progress was good in the rehabilitation center, mom enjoyed the staff and having regular meals. Together we decided that she would benefit best if she were to enter a long term care facility. Thus began the journey to get her qualified for Medicaid. A couple of firms were referred to us by her rehabilitation center. They were sketchy at best. Then I found Elder Needs Law.
