My wife and I bought into a timeshare about fifteen years ago. At first we were happy about our choice , we had some great vacations. As the years went by the maintenance fee kept climbing. It was no longer such a good deal. We also looked forward to seeing some new resorts, but they always seemed to have no opening when we wanted to go. In 2019 our resort doubled our annual maintenance fee so they could add on. We were given an extra week and were able to invite our adult kids too use this extra week. So in the long run it worked out . Our resort was sold in 2019 and we were told to expect an increase in our maintenance fee. It doubled. This was no longer a deal of any kind. We would have been paying an astronomical amount for one week of vacation. We were put in touch with the Boukzam Law firm in hopes of getting out of this mess. Until we looked into this we thought it would it would be an easy process to sell our time share or just give it back to the resort. We found out a time share is nothing like the purchase of a residential piece of property. The time share resorts own you and they get to call the shots. After talking with Natalie Boukzam and explaining where we were and how we got there she agreed to represent us. She said it is not a quick process, but she said she should be able to get us closure and out of this contract. This process did take almost a year and a half, but knowing we are no longer a time share owner is a great relief. Natalie Boukzam was recommended to me as someone who could efficiently and effectively terminate my longstanding ownership in a timeshare that, for years, had become increasingly burdensome. It seemed unlikely that I would be able to rid myself of this timeshare absent considerable time (which I had already spent) and expense. I had been scammed before by firms that promised to sell or rent my timeshare for a modest fee. Right. Initially, I was skeptical given past experiences.
