In the year 2019 I was faced with the most difficult and challenging situations of my life. I have no history whatsoever of any legal issues. This entire scenario was a complete and utter nightmare. I am a 100% Permanently Disabled Veteran who suffers from severe PTSD. I was illegally apprehended and placed in a Psychiatric Hospital. While severely medicated in the Hospital I apparently made some phone calls unbeknownst to me. I had no idea of the phone calls or what was said, all I remember is being charged with two felonies. I was placed in "jail" and had no idea what to do or what was going on. I was represented at the time by what is referred to as Regional Counsel which to me is a "pumped up term" for Public Defender. Months and months passed and I had multiple court appearances with no legal representation whatsoever. I represented myself on multiple occasions because there was no legal representation available. After several months in jail and several court appearances I terminated my legal representation and hired Amy Guin from the offices of Colleen Glen. Amy came to visit me right away while I was in "jail" and she comforted me immediately. Keep in mind for months all I heard was I was going to be in jail indefinitely. From the day of that meeting Amy jumped into action and took control of my situation. Amy showed up at my "bond hearing" and she explained my situation with great sincerity and the Judge allowed me to be set free with "no bond". Within hours I was allowed to be "set free" and after several months of "hell" I was finally home. God Bless Amy and God Bless the Judge. I learned an expensive lesson, if you somehow find yourself in trouble with the law don't count on a Public Defender or even other counsel. If anyone out there finds themselves in a difficult situation don't waste time call Amy as soon as possible. I say this from experience losing months and months of my life while laying in a "jail bed" pondering where my life went too and where is it going. In summary, you can rest assured if you hire Amy Guin you will be guaranteed someone who cares, has compassion, intellect and knowledge of the law to 'GET THINGS DONE"! If your in a legal situation don't hesitate, I initially entrusted my future to the wrong person, had I not hired Amy I would most likely still be in jail looking at "serious" time if not a nervous breakdown. The stress of incarceration for an individual in my condition could be deadly. In closing, thank GOD for allowing me to find Amy Guin and thank GOD she saved my life. I will be forever in debt to Amy and you can rest assured I will promote Amy to everyone who really needs HELP for the rest of my Life! Thanks for listening and GOD BLESS!
