I'm glad I hired Libby to finally help me get divorced. Unfortunately, between my ex-husband and his useless lawyer, it took us one year to finalize the divorce. I had hired another lawyer with a big office and legal assistant but I never felt like they helped move the process along. Libby was always easy to get in contact with and would respond to my emails and calls within days. She was very helpful throughout the process answering my questions and facilitating communication with the other attorney. I would highly recommend Libby McNary. P.S: If you don't want to use up your retainer stupidly with ANY lawyer (and then accuse the lawyer of not doing anything), don't send a million emails, let the lawyer take care of things and get back to you in a timely manner. This is what I unknowingly did with my previous attorney not realizing that I was wasting time and money.

My wife and I hired miss McNary based off of reviews we saw during a search for a good family law attorney. She requires all of the money up front and told us a long list of things she would accomplish during the consultation which she deducts hour from her retainer ($2500)..None of what we asked was accomplished. What was crazy is how she quickly accomplished the request for the petitioner's requests but when we had her on our case for 4 months, she was incapable of obtaining financial affidavits from the petitioner (or so she says). However, the new attorney we hired put in paperwork that mandated the other party's financials within a day while Ms. McNary justified the entire sum of the retainer with how she had to respond to our emails asking her why she hadn’t accomplished the objectives we originally hired her for. When she was confronted about the inquisition, she got pretty rude and kept shoving client/attorney severance paperwork in our face. All we wanted was her to do what we paid her to do. Our new attorney reviewed the work she put in and was astounded as to how little she had done for our case. There was clearly no effort or focus put into our case whatsoever with Miss McNary. She seemed to have a really hard time with punctuality and letting us know when she was out of the office. I'm sure Ms. McNary is competent as a lawyer for some, but for us.. not so much. I suggest getting everything you want done in writing before you retain this attorney, because we did not. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Libby was not the first lawyer on my case, however, after dealing with her, I would of chosen her over any other lawyer. She is to the point, and doesn't waste time. Which is very appreciated with a lawyer.

I’d give 0 stars if I could. From the very get go, I explained to Ms. Mcnary what I wanted done with my case. I’d have to say that absolutely nothing was done, other then her sending me some documents that the petitioners attorney put together for me to sign. She managed to use up all $2500 that I gave her and only did maybe 2 hours of work. When I confronted her about this, she decided to withdraw from my case. All I wanted was an itinerary explaining what she had done so far. She started representing me in September, and I had to contact her several times to ask her why she still hadn’t received the petitioners financials. When I met with her in September, she told me that she’d give the petitioner 7 days to provide his fianacails, so I was very surprised as to how she continued to bill me for emails I sent her just simply asking her why she wasn’t doing her job. She makes promises that she doesn’t keep and nickel and dimes you for every single thing. She never gives updates on what’s going on with your case and takes forever to respond to emails simply asking her why things are not being done. She’s also very rude and condescending.Trust me, you’re better off finding another attorney.

A solid attorney, but you can find better. As a sole practictioner with no paralegal, you will have trouble getting in touch with her as she is usually in court most days. She also went on vacation without notifying me a week before our trial date which left us to scramble to get prepared on the Monday before the Tuesday trial. I honestly did not feel like much effort or focus was put into my case, but she did talk me down from filing unnecessary motions.

Hands down one of the best lawyers I have ever had the privilage to have represent me. She handled everything amazingly and with the most affordable options available. If you are having family issues, need a family/divorce lawyer, Libby is your lawyer. Do not think twice! Do not call anyone else. Thank you again Libby for your services...Ramon
