I hired Carmen Bland during a very difficult time dealing with DCF because I didn't know what to do. Long story short she was completely unable to accomplish anything I requested and basically said there was nothing she could do. I was able to accomplish 5 times the amount of what I asked her to do a few weeks later. I have no legal background, I just tried. Despite the situation where I was trying to adopt a child that was uncared for and she maid zero progress in the case, she refused to come down financially. Very distasteful and poor people skills.
