My mother was struck by a drunk driver in May of 2019 and was severely injured. The life threating trauma she sustained caused her to be in the ICU, stepdown units and rehab centers for over 9 months. My mother lives in Florida, I live in NC and my sisters live in NY. As you can imagine we were very limited on any resources we needed to make sure my mother was taken care of medically and legally. It so happens the towing company that towed her car from the accident scene referred us to Carlson Meissner and Hart, P.A. for her legal services. I met Attorney Jennifer Burns and her Paralegal Tara Kenyon and spoke at length with them regarding my mother's case. I've never neck or back problems, or had to deal with personal injury lawyers before. Someone ran into me nearly head on. I visited Jennifer and hired her, as they found spinal injuries. All visits at her office were relatively quick. I got a healthy insurance payout as my insurance covered most of my medical & the insurance of the driver AND the owner of the other car (2 different people) paid out the max required bodily injury. I still have slight spine issues, but the financial compensation makes it feel a little better.
