Speeding ticket in downtown Miami, ugghh, now what do I do? Don't want to go to driving school. Don't want to pay it and get the points for insurance rates to go up. Two days after my ticket, must have received 8 attorney pamphlets in the mail wanting to defend me. Spent some time on line and came across Ms. Callejo's reviews and within most of the genuine reviews there was a reoccurring pattern of an attorney that was upfront and honest with people's options and most importantly, someone that was going to keep them in the loop. So I called her, told her the truth about what happened and sent her a photo of my ticket. She told me that she thought she could keep me out of driving school and the points away. I was fine with that and compensated her with what I thought was a very fair price. It then took 4 months to get a court date. I'd text her monthly and she'd respond with info and updated photos from the county traffic computers. Then she texted me that I had a court date, that there was nothing to do on my part and that she would let me know the outcome. She worked her magic and texted me 2 hours after the time of my hearing that she had the charges dismissed and a photo of my ticket/hearing stating that it was dismissed. Long story short, even if I wouldn't have gotten out of the ticket, I still would have been satisfied because of the ease of the process and Ms. Callejo's attentiveness. Attorney's can't control the outcomes, but all you can hope is that you found a good one that will give it their best shot in representing you. Ms. Callejo is a top shelf attorney.
