I hired Ms. Burgos and her firm regarding a long-term disability appeal with a renowned insurance company that famously denies legitimate disability cases. From my first conversation with Ms. Burgos in June of 2023, she demonstrated the utmost professionalism demonstrating a plethora of knowledge regarding rare chronic illnesses as well as working with insurance companies. It is clear that Ms. Burgos has a passion for what she does, and she is relentless (in a fantastic way) when it comes to having your claim heard so that you can "move on" with your life with some sort of financial stability. I never ever had an issue with Ms. Burgos or her staff returning my calls or emails in an expedient time frame. When Ms. Burgos states she is going to do something on your case, she will absolutely follow through and let you know how things are going. In fact, I told her on occasion to take a break and have a relaxing weekend with her family....yes, that is how hard she works! My advice to those who are struggling with insurance companies and a disability claim, hire an attorney sooner versus later because it will make this extremely difficult, long process less painful. It is going to be a long process, please don't kid yourself that it will be quick. Mine has been over two years, however having Ms. Burgos and her firm represent me was the best decision I made!
