Mr Brown agreed to take on my case after I fired the first attorney I had retained. The first attorney had ignored my wishes, talked down to me, and basically wanted me to lie to just get the case over with. Mr Brown recognized the injustice in my situation and truly stood beside me. He listened to me, believed in me, and fought for me. He thought deeply and critically about the case, put in the research work necessary to really understand the dynamics, and presented the facts, clearly proving my innocence and the injustice in the situation. Kevin Brown is a smart, well educated litigator. Like many attorneys, he is weak at follow up and follow through. He agreed to a flat fee and did not finish my case. He stated he wants more money. He tells me his bill is now $50,000 and then billed me for $150,000 though our contract is a flat fee.
