Attorney Jacqueline Salcines provided a personal attention to us with the purchase of a new property . I will always remember Attorney Jacqueline she went to court for me and got my ticket dismissed completely on the first court date. She plays no games I pray to not get another ticket in the future but If I do or if anybody I know needs representation I would definitely recommend her services.

So, the first time I called Jacqueline (I found her on Google), I asked her for advice in my real estate transaction. I was so impressed with how quickly she replied and was willing to assist me. She said she would charge me a fixed cost of $300 to review my real estate contract and advise me accordingly. She did it promptly and provided her opinion. Next, when I needed an escrow agent, she offered her services for a fixed fee of $695, to which I immediately agreed and sent her the payment. That was on Friday. On Monday, I received an email from my buyer stating that he had backed off and would not be moving forward. I emailed Jacqueline promptly, to which she replied, 'Sorry to hear, no refund will be issued. The end of the story.' She is a professional and knows better, not her problem. I was shocked, to say the least, and furious. Like seriously? Typically, escrow agents don't even charge a dime until the transaction is closed. So, not only did she lose a customer, receive a chargeback, but she also earned a negative review. Wow, bravo Jacqueline! And yes, this is NOT a fake review. Obviously, dear Jacqueline, the only resort you have left to try to clear yourself is to claim it to be a 'fake review.' Your statement is a total LIE. You have never offered 'I always honor the fees for the next closing.' This is what Jacqueline actually replied to me, for those who are curries to read this comment till the end: "I think I was pretty clear on my previous email. Please review the retainer agreement. There is no refund I am willing to make as the file was opened and time spent on the contract. In addition to the title search, the lien search is not even in yet and usually runs between $250-380. Plus my time spent at 350/hr. Again there is no refund being made."

Attorney Salcines is a good attorney.. I was involved in a Real estate escrow dispute for $10,000.. This wasn't a lucrative case for Attorney Salcines, however from the very first phone call I could tell she was willing to help me. The resolution took over 6 months and countless emails to attorneys and banks. We were able to reach a satisfactory settlement and Attorney Salcines maintained the original agreement and didn't include any "extra" fees. Yes she is busy, but if you are patient and allow her time to fight your case she will bring your case to resolution.

After having dealt with Ms. Salcines for a few months, I felt compelled to change my original review to a more accurate one. It was very frustrating dealing with this law firm as the communication was quite inadequate. Phone calls are not returned and occasional updates on my case were not offered to me regarding court matters. I was always put in a position to chase after my attorney. When I did get her on the phone, she was always short with me. I finally got smart and moved my case to another real estate firm and am very content with my decision.

Jacqueline Salcines is the worst attorney I've ever encountered. My 93-year-old grandmother was defrauded by a contractor and we contacted her in good faith. She requested a $5,000 retainer fee and after exchanging a few emails, demanded more money to simply leave her office to visit the property, which was located nearby. Thousands of dollars down the drain, time and energy wasted to provide her with documents and information and a total lack of communication and professionalism on her part. Do not hire Jacqueline Salcines if you want an effective attorney. ADDENDUM: Since I can’t reply to your response, Jacqueline, I’ll respond here. We DID retain you and I have a signed retainer agreement to prove it. Perhaps you forgot there’s a paper trail for our correspondence? We paid you $5,000 and you made a few phone calls — probably amount to 1-2 hours of work. Then you disappeared and demanded more money to simply look at the property in question (which was very close to your office) — we never asked you for a “house call.” Your baseless and inaccurate response to my review only further encourages me to report you to the Florida Bar. If you’re reading this, I repeat: do NOT hire this attorney. She does not work in good faith.
